    First time at Brio Italian Grille. Last time at Brio Italian Grille. We had a special engagement celebration and the staff didn’t even acknowledge it. The waiter at our table tonight was terrible! There were only two tables with customers in the whole restaurant and the service was non existent . After being served, the waiter never came back to ask if we needed another drink, desert or coffee. We only stopped him to get the check in order to leave. Never again.

    We were there to celebrate my birthday and they were out of the best dessert on the menu with really no accommodate to do something else to celebrate. Also added chicken to my pasta and it was a full breast off to the side (not mixed into the sauce or pasta) and was very, very fatty. Overall, not a great celebration dinner.

    Celebrated a birthday as noted in the reservation . No recognition of the fact. Food was good. Service could have been slightly better. Waitress was very sweet but seemed in the weeds. Took a while to get my drink and other items we wanted. Good experience but could have been better.

    The mixed drink from the bar was not very good. Way to sweet. However the server comped it and replaced it with a glass of wine. Excellent service and good food.

    I have been to Brio several times and, yes, the food is good but the portions are HUGE. Our server Logan was really nice, as well as the hostess. I wish you would have other than spaghetti, fetuccine and rigatoni. Throw some penne to the pasta options. The carbonara does not need a spicy sausage for crying out loud. The only food we returned was the calamari. Maybe chef was having a bad day, but those calamari were CHEWY. Just bad. Kudos to your wine list, we loved the Montepulciano. Flatbread looks like a pizza. Just call it a pizza.

    I used to go to Brio weekly before COVID-19. It was the place to be in Southlake and we were never disappointed! The food was always above par and the service was rarely ever less than top notch. We had 6pm dinner reservations for 5 (4 adults, 1 teen) on Friday and were seated promptly. The restaurant was bustling but not overwhelmingly crowded. I would say 80% of the tables were taken. Our server was pleasant, but not attentive. Normally the bar at Brio is the place to be seen, but on this night it was quiet. Yet we waited close to 20 minutes for our drinks. One adult in our party was drinking tea and it was only refilled once in 90+ minutes. The teen never had her lemonade refilled. We ordered our first drinks when we arrived and our second when we ordered food. We didn’t order any appetizers. The wait time for our food was average, nothing that I would complain about. The food was brought to our tables by runners. Our server never came back to our table after our food came. She didn’t check that everything was ok or to refill our drinks. We had to flag someone else down to ask for our checks. The ambiance is always nice at Brio. The acoustics make for a fairly loud dining experience. We paid $130 for our party of 3 (chicken limone x2, lasagna, lemonade, cocktails x 4). We walked across to EVO for our 7:40 movie. The credits were already running. So I estimate our time at Brio to be 1 hour 50 minutes.

    Have visited this restaurant before but this time not quite as good. My Brio Pasta and husband’s Chicken Marsala both had over cooked chicken. Our party of four all ordered ceaser salads but one had no croutons. Once mentioned to our waiter he rectified. I like the energy of this restaurant but this time not 5 star.

    We haven’t been to Brio in years and was really looking forward to going there for dinner last night. So disappointed! The food was edible, but not even comparable to what it use to be, they are understaffed and it is overpriced. For reference- we ordered the shrimp scallop risotto and grilled chicken pecan strawberry salad. Even the cappuccino tasted like flowers…weird. Sadly, we won’t be going back.

    Brio is a great place to take out of town guests because it is so delicious! I’ve never had a bad meal there. The portions are very large and easily shareable. The staff is always very friendly and professional.

    Our server, Taylor, was excellent. Loved the Calamari and the truffle bread appetizers. The Cesar salad was solid. The salmon entree and the chicken limone entree were good, but not excellent.

    Thank you to the staff for making our wedding dinner experience memorable! Vanessa and Haley were fantastic, accommodating, and helpful. These two ladies were very attentive throughout our entire time, answering questions and providing excellent service. There isn't a thing on this menu that isn't fantastic, portions are huge, we often have to take half home.

    We enjoy going to Brio as a nice night out usually. Service was really lacking tonight. I ordered the Spaghetti Bolognese and was brought out the Pasta Brio. The food runner checked the order and pointed it out to the waiter, who told me that I did get the Bolognese. I pointed out the peppers and mushrooms and he then realized the difference. He offered to take it back but since my wife and daughter had just gotten their food I didn't want to send it back and wait, and then have them sit their while I ate. Unfortunately, we never saw him again until he dropped the check off, didn't come back to check if I changed my mind, refill my wife's ice tea, or ask us if we wanted dessert. Restaurant was not busy so there was really no excuse to abandon us. Also didn't offer to take it off the bill or throw in a free dessert.

    We had a very young and inexperienced wait person. That can't be held against her. A little slow, however, when the sous chef noticed our table waiting, the service picked up. Overall, it was a good experience, and the food was really good.

    Service was absolutely wonderful. Food came out fast. My dish, lobster and shrimp pasta was delicious. My husband’s dish, if it were not for the chicken, would have been as well. He ordered the Gorgonzola Cream Campanelle. The chicken reminded us of precooked frozen chicken that was boiled or microwaved to reheat. It was pale white, bland and mushy. Once it was picked out, the dish was quite good.

    Food was G R E A T and beautifully plated - Lobster Bisque, Chopped Salad, Salmon and Vegetables, Rigatoni w/ Italian sausage, Caramel Cheesecake with a Latte; the wine accompaniment was a hearty and smooth favorite. All in all, a wonderful dinner-out; the service was top notch(as always) and that's why we keep coming back :). Just Go! and enjoy.

    This use to be one of the best restaurants you could go to in Southlake town Square. The service, the food, the atmosphere, have all fallen off. For an Italian restaurant it has one of the worst wine list. Our food was over salted. We told the manager, and she apologized. It was extremely hot in the restaurant two of the members, of my nine person party, cheeks were red, because it was so hot and we had to fan most of the evening. would love to  see Bríos turn it around, but I think we have visited for the last time, we have tried, even though it’s been going downhill.

    Overall just ok, not quite like the other Southlake restaurants but still pricey. Salads premade ice cold. Just pretty basic in my opinion.

    Its quiet on the outside patios, one on the south and one on the north (tall tables only). We love their food.
