Bridge Street Bistro is a 2nd and 3rd floor space above the Island Time Bar & Grill at the corner of Bridge Street and Gulf Drive. We feature stunning views of the Gulf from our beautiful bay windows and outdoor deck on our 3rd floor. Our ambiance is inspired by the dinner houses of the "Rat Pack" era and you will find music to match on the speakers from the likes of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. Enjoy the delicious fresh seafood and hand cut steaks from Chef David Thompson's team in our Kitchen. We have an extensive wine list and craft cocktails to pare with the experience. Jennifer Mallard's service team will ensure you have an unforgettable experience.
Elevator service is available and there is parking in the resort designated for our guests, please see a parking attendant.

    We absolutely love bridge street! It’s a wonderful place for date night and to catch a sunset. The cocktails are delicious and the seafood is so fresh! My husband had the seafood Mac and cheese and it was perfectly creamy.

    We have been here many times. We love the Frank Sinatra ambiance and the location looking over the Gulf but—the menu never changes. It’s summer so no specials so you’re stuck. My wife loves a salad, so I’m stuck. The other practice I noticed was the food runners. A male wearing a baseball cap and a heavy metal shirt that read something like Destruction. A female was wearing a tee shirt that advertised a restaurant down the street which makes me wonder if that is wear the food came from. O, and the music. Instead of the Rat Pack reflecting the pictures on the wall, it was 50s rock and roll.

    Hello Dave, thank you for your feedback. We appreciate you taking the time to tell us your thoughts. Our menu changes, at least once a year. While we do have some staples that never change because of their popularity with our guests, others get changed out yearly. While we don't have specials all the time, we have been running specials for the past 4 days. Thank you for the music observation. It sounds like the night you joined us, the staff forgot to change the happy hour music to the dinner hour music. We will work on the consistency of that. I am informing the Chef of this review so he can talk to his staff about their attire. Could you tell me what restaurant the other food runner was advertising? That is unusual, to say the least. Thank you for your time!

    High Expectations: ★★☆☆☆ (2 out of 5 stars) Beach Street Bistro enjoys a beautiful location on Anna Maria Island, and we were lucky to have a table with a perfect view of the sunset, that was, without question, the highlight of the evening (other than I also genuinely appreciated just spending time with my family.) Unfortunately, everything beyond the view fell short of expectations. Service was noticeably subpar. Our water glasses remained empty for most of the meal, and given that water was our only beverage, it was especially glaring. The staff seemed disengaged and inattentive, which detracted from what should have been a special night. The food, however, was the biggest disappointment. I ordered the pecan maple-glazed pork and was surprised to be asked how I’d like it cooked, a question I’ve never encountered when ordering pork, despite dining out frequently. When the dish arrived, it was undercooked in the center, had an unappealingly tough texture, and carried an odd aftertaste that made me question its freshness. Unfortunately, a few hours later, I experienced clear signs that something wasn’t right. My wife’s salmon was overcooked and dry, while my daughter’s seafood dish was mediocre at best, certainly not the quality we expected based on the restaurant’s reputation and pricing. In the end, it was a memorable night for the wrong reasons. While the setting was undeniably lovely, the food and service missed the mark. Regrettably, we won’t be returning.

Our staff should be aiming for higher standards than that so I will address these concerns with my serving staff. The issues with the food have been brought to our Chef's attention. We normally perform at a higher level of service than this so, we hope one day in the future you will consider giving us another shot.

    We were very disappointed in this lovely restaurant with good service and great ambiance. We had the surf and turf. The steak was severely over salted. On the other hand the large shrimp were nearly tasteless. The accompanying risotto was mushy and bland. We hoped a Carmel and cinnamon bread pudding dessert would at least give us a nice finish. Unfortunately the bread pudding was dry and only a drizzle of caramel was used. Lovely place and Mitchel was a good waiter. We won’t be back with so many good alternatives available.
