Bridge Street Bistro is a 2nd and 3rd floor space above the Island Time Bar & Grill at the corner of Bridge Street and Gulf Drive. We feature stunning views of the Gulf from our beautiful bay windows and outdoor deck on our 3rd floor. Our ambiance is inspired by the dinner houses of the "Rat Pack" era and you will find music to match on the speakers from the likes of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. Enjoy the delicious fresh seafood and hand cut steaks from Chef David Thompson's team in our Kitchen. We have an extensive wine list and craft cocktails to pare with the experience. We absolutely love bridge street! It’s a wonderful place for date night and to catch a sunset. The cocktails are delicious and the seafood is so fresh! My husband had the seafood Mac and cheese and it was perfectly creamy.

High Expectations: ★★☆☆☆ (2 out of 5 stars) Beach Street Bistro enjoys a beautiful location on Anna Maria Island, and we were lucky to have a table with a perfect view of the sunset, that was, without question, the highlight of the evening (other than I also genuinely appreciated just spending time with my family.) Unfortunately, everything beyond the view fell short of expectations. Service was noticeably subpar. Our water glasses remained empty for most of the meal, and given that water was our only beverage, it was especially glaring. The staff seemed disengaged and inattentive, which detracted from what should have been a special night. The food, however, was the biggest disappointment. I ordered the pecan maple-glazed pork and was surprised to be asked how I’d like it cooked, a question I’ve never encountered when ordering pork, despite dining out frequently. When the dish arrived, it was undercooked in the center, had an unappealingly tough texture, and carried an odd aftertaste that made me question its freshness. Unfortunately, a few hours later, I experienced clear signs that something wasn’t right. My wife’s salmon was overcooked and dry, while my daughter’s seafood dish was mediocre at best, certainly not the quality we expected based on the restaurant’s reputation and pricing. In the end, it was a memorable night for the wrong reasons. While the setting was undeniably lovely, the food and service missed the mark. Regrettably, we won’t be returning.

Good morning, David. First, we would like to deeply apologize for your subpar experience. Our staff should be aiming for higher standards than that so I will address these concerns with my serving staff. The issues with the food have been brought to our Chef's attention. We normally perform at a higher level of service than this so, we hope one day in the future you will consider giving us another shot.

We were very disappointed in this lovely restaurant with good service and great ambiance. We had the surf and turf. The steak was severely over salted. On the other hand the large shrimp were nearly tasteless. The accompanying risotto was mushy and bland. We hoped a Carmel and cinnamon bread pudding dessert would at least give us a nice finish. Unfortunately the bread pudding was dry and only a drizzle of caramel was used. Lovely place and Mitchel was a good waiter. We won’t be back with so many good alternatives available.

I’ve been here multiple times and it never disappoints! The good and the service were excellent! I’ll, absolutely, be back and highly recommend fining here!

We had a party of 14 for mother's day. The entire staff was very attentive, friendly, accommodating and professional. The food was delicious, well prepared and portioned. The oysters were fresh and so good we ordered a second round. The soup was great and everyone that had it raved about it. We were very well taken care of by everyone, especially our server who did a great job managing the large party that included two toddlers. We had drinks at the bar downstairs before going up to be seated, and that was a very nice experience as well, super service there too. Great location, beautiful views. We will be back for sure.
