We went to Brasserie Byronz for the first time since the reboot. We had an early dinner during Happy Hour. The place was pretty full, and there was a fun atmosphere. Our server was helpful explaining the new menu. We had a couple of well-crafted cocktails, and then wine. The food was excellent! The standout for me was the Blackened Redfish Reuben. I’d been looking for a sandwich like this since having one in St. Thomas. It was fantastic, and I’ll be going back for that alone. We had a great time, and I think this rebranding is a bullseye.

We got the crab Mac and fromage, the chicken paillard and some drinks. There were a lot of crab shell in the Mac, it was every bite shell the chicken paillard was good, but needed something else with it besides the arugula and vinegrette. After seeing pictures of the pot roast, my wife and I both decided that we should’ve order that.

Plusses: service was prompt and friendly Atmosphere and decor was modern Minuses: Goat cheese croquettes were extremely goaty Crawfish and grits featured too few crawfish and too little flavor Music was intrusive Staff could wear black for special occasions
