We did the Mother’s Day brunch. It was a full house. Food was great. Add on meat option was a great price but we couldn’t get anyone to come to the table. It’s all u can eat and half the time we saw the guys with the meats standing arnd. We were lucky to get one slice of each of the 4 they offered us The waitress disappeared and we were asking others for water. At one point I asked a waitress and she said yea of course and then never came back. Althgh she did come back to set up a table behind us but no word to us abt the water lol. The floors toward the back are super slick ans u comfortable to walk on. This was our first time there and unfortunately will b our last

The restaurant was beautiful. The bartenders were personable, and the bar was great. The salad bar was a veritable feast. Our first impression was incredible, but when we sat down, it all went downhill. We waited forever for a sliver of meat. Even after I complained to the general manager, it didn’t get any better. The servers skipped over half of our party, and we waited and waited and waited for meat. The saddest part was our sons wanted to treat their moms to a happy Mother’s Day dinner. It was so expensive and not worth it at all.

Third and probably last time at Bovino’s. The first time was great, the second time did not have meats and served the very last pieces. Yesterday, the service was horrible. They were understaffed. Took them forever to serve. Everyone was running around trying to attend to customers but could not meet the demand. I would prefer to let us know that they could not serve us and we could make other arrangements instead of what we experienced. The servers were not existent. The people bringing the meats were sparse and most of the time there was no one. The salad bar had items not well stocked. Compared to other options it is not worth it.

There were maybe three other tables being used when we got there but our table was dirty. While the food wasn’t bad there are better Brazilian steak houses for significantly better food for significantly less money and you won’t feel like the salad bar was on sale at target. Drinks were watered down. But by far the service was awesome, they worked hard. Feel bad that food didn’t live up to the effort the service deserved.

Service: The service was absolutely superb; from the moment we walked through the door to the moment we left! Food: The food, however, was way below what we expected and experienced at other brunch spots, especially for the price. The scrambled eggs were hard and sitting too long, the potatoes were all burnt/overcooked and barely edible, and there was no bacon (normal staple for $25 brunch - the sausage links tasted like something microwaved out of a freezer section). Also, although the banana foster French toast experience was lovely (our son enjoyed the elaborate, table side, fire presentation, and the server’s service was impeccable!), the French toast was so hard it could not be cut with a fork. We tried it plain right from the bar, and with the banana foster, both with the same result - extremely hard and dry. The only food that was good, was the freshly made omelette (was delicious, and presented beautifully!). Ambiance: The DJ was a nice touch, however, jazz/instrumental music is a much better fit for Sunday Brunch ambiance; the 80’s pop music was nostalgic, but not a good fit for a Sunday morning/afternoon. Value: because the food was not good, I cannot justify returning for another visit at $25/person. Also, other brunches include a beverage (coffee, juice, etc.) with their brunch, and Bovino’s charged separately for drinks. Overall, this felt like a dinner restaurant trying to toss together a brunch at the last minute. The service was so exceptional, that I wish I could meet with the GM/owner to provide feedback on how to make Bovino’s a true brunch staple; because if the food was as good as the service (and a couple of tweaks were made to the ambiance), this could be a weekly win for the restaurant and the patrons. (Side Note for Owner: please address the extremely slippery floors (they are a lawsuit waiting to happen).

Great time. Lots and lots of options between the omelette station, and brunch buffet. Plus you can add meat for an extra $15. Service was awesome, food delicious, as were the drinks. I am happy to say they can accommodate all dietary restrictions. The waffles and coconut French toast were vegan. Plus lot of fresh veggies and fruit. So anyone can go :) we will be back!

The brunch is something new at this location so perhaps that is why this was not a great experience. We paid extra in order to have the meats included but most cuts came well done and the selection was limited. The food was a bit bland but I feel this was due to the meats being well done. The salad bar was nice but there was no dressing outside of ranch and a lot of bottles of olive oil. The waffles were good and so was the do it yourself yogurt with fruits and granola. The location had a DJ playing an eclectic array of songs.

With similar choices in San Antonio, I was not impressed. Our friends ordered the seafood platter and it was over cooked and chewy. Meats were ok and the servers were a bit weird. Inside tried ti be fancy and nice but didn’t hit the mark, and the final bill was way too high. Id expect more at La Cantera. We were very disappointed. My 2 cents, not worth it and suggest going to one of the other Brazilian Steakhouses.

We went for brunch on Easter Sunday. Waffles were dry, omelette station was in the sane line as waffles/chicken & french toast, so hard to get to. Potatoes were dry & no flavor. The food was mediocre for this restaurant. We have had their lunch & dinner & were very happy. Although I would not recommend brunch.

Service was awful, my boyfriend finished his sea food platter before I got 3 cuts of meat. The mash potatoes they serve were liquid. The salad at the salad bar wasn't fresh. We visit Chama Gaucha once every couple of months, so we thought about trying a new place, we won't be returning.

I would not recommend the Seafood unless you are able to pick what choices of seafood. The octopus was soggy and over seasoned. Only one scallop, 5 shrimp, 4 mussels, octopus (took most of the plate), and small piece of salmon for $65.00. Definetely not worth the cost.

The service here is excellent and noteworthy. They are incredibly attentive and aware if you need any assistance. All of the seafood was overcooked and they charged me $124 a person when their "Seafood Experience" listed on their website says on Friday it is $79.99 (I went here on a Friday night). I would not recommend the seafood experience to anyone. As for the regular meats coming out on the floor, most of it is cooked way more than I would have liked. I would ask for medium rare to rare cuts and receive almost well-done to well-done cuts every time. As for another highlight, the Garota de Ipanema is a must-dessert order as the show is fun to watch for it.

I took my family from out of state to Bovinos and we were all very impressed. They did an amazing job with the service, always on top of things making sure we were taken care of. The Brazilian styled cuts were delicious; high quality, juicy and seasoned perfectly 🤤. To end the dinner we ordered their flan and creme brulé. Honestly the best flan and creme brulè I've ever had 😍👌🏼. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice dinner with friends and family. I will definitely be coming back!

Our table had asked for medium rare cuts but they were only serving well done meat which was not to our liking. Very poor quality of meat for this experience. Salad bar items had been taken off that were excellent so the quality went down tremendously.

Not as good as it used to be. Th salad bar is much less than before. The cuts of meat were so thin and slivered. We had to wait awhile for the meat to come around and the restaurant was not busy. The server forgot a cocktail and our cheese bread. For $64.99 per person it was not worth it.

My fiancé and I love Brazilian steakhouses. So within this past year we have been to all of them. So to be frank Bovino’s just isn’t up to par with Braso or Chama Gaucho. It was ok at best. The meat wasn’t as flavored and the portions for example the lamb chops were small. Then the cuts of meat were more fatty. Since we went on Valentine’s Day I thought they would have brought out their A game but for that price there are better options.

I love churrascarias—my husband and I frequent our favorite one quite often. We decided to give Bovino’s a try since it seemed to be a little bit of a different experience, and wanted to go somewhere new for our wedding anniversary. And it definitely was different, but not in a good way unfortunately. From the get go, the host stand was very disorganized, the server was extremely aloof and inattentive, and the food left a whole lot to be desired. The seafood—for the obscene extra money we paid for it—was not what I would have expected. The lobster was like jerky, they only gave us ONE scallop, and everything else was poorly cooked/seasoned. The only things we received good portions of for 2 people for was the octopus and the salmon—which are odd selections for an upscale seafood add on. The gauchos (meat preparers and cutters) seemed to be understaffed, as the service was slow. At one point we asked different 4 gauchos and the server once for bottom sirloin, and did not have it come to the table after these several asks for over 30 minutes. The meat was under salted/seasoned, which wasn’t the greatest experience in terms of taste. My husband and I were really disappointed and for a $205 “special Valentine’s Day experience” we were dumbfounded at the lack of quality in food and service. We expected much more from what should have been a really nice fine dining experience. I would not recommend anyone go here if looking for a Brazilian steakhouse—there are so many better options out there at better price points and much better quality and service. Brasao is our personal favorite (and if you are looking for seafood, has shrimp that has a much better flavor and significantly larger than in the “seafood platter special” included in the regular meat service price). We will not be returning to Bovino’s.

Resist the urge to try this newcomer to the overpriced Brazilian Steakhouse restaurants in San Antonio. We arrived approximately 15 minutes prior to our reservation time, which was right when the restaurant opened. Despite having an amble foyer for waiting guests, the manager decided to keep the doors locked until 1 minute before opening. So we stood outside the door for 14 minutes in very chilly and windy conditions. Then when we were finally let in, the ambient temperature of the interior was not much higher than the outside temp. Our server had significant difficulty explaining the process and the menu due to her lack of adequate English proficiency. At the end of her presentation, we still were not quite sure what we were ordering and she had to ask several times to clarify our choices. We are glad she did because she was completely off base at first. The salad bar was adequate but not up to the standards of other Brazilian Steakhouses in town. We were surprised by the addition of a "seafood plate" option. There were no printed or QR code menus and no prices were quoted during our server's initial presentation of our options. We assumed the prices were reasonable and did not ask (our mistake). The meat selection and quality were average at best. Again better elsewhere. The typical sides were disappointing. Runny tasteless mashed potatoes and very small Plaintains. The seafood "option" consists of two extremely small, very tough taking lobster tails. Four shrimp, ONE scallop, a small, dry piece of Salmon, four mussels, and very, VERY tough octopus which no one ate and took up 1/3 of the seafood plate ($124). Then our son finished his dessert, we waited about 15 more minutes until our server was finished chatting with her co-workers before our check was presented. The amount for six of us was over $800 which included a mandatory 20% tip. That's a lot of tip money for bringing drinking and busing dirty plates. Back to Texas de Brazil for us.

Poor service and poor communication. We had to ask for every meat to come to our table. We had to wait then finally after we asked, the server said we could go to the salad bar. They brought us bread but no plates to eat from. The server would only remove one to two dirty plates at a time and we were a party of 11. We had to stack dirty plates on the table for someone to pick them up. I had to send back my brazilian drink because it was terrible, the margarita I got instead was actually pretty good tho. The salad bar was also subpar with a lot of random stuff thrown together. The picaña was mid, no filet miñon offered at all. No one was full after this meal and that has never happened at a Brazilian steakhouse with us. This was my birthday dinner and a horrible overall experience. There was a live singer that sang happy birthday to me and that was nice, but that’s the best comment I can give. I will NEVER go there again.

Had my Sons 17th Birthday here! It was great, food was good service was good drinks were good! Cost is a bit overwhelming. $65 a person plus they charge for water unless you get tap water :/ we had 6 people to pay for $400 🤑🤑🤑🤑 Just make sure you know going into it your gonna pay a lot, so make them keep coming with all the meat! They kinda stop bringing it to the table unless you keep requesting them to.
