I also feel so well attended to and Jose and Joel met our every need and request. - AAlanSan Antonio •1 review5.0Dined on Aug 30, 2024My friends and I had the pleasure of dining at Sweetfire Kitchen located in the beautiful La Cantera Resort and Spa, and it was an experience to remember. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that perfectly matched the resort's luxurious setting. The food was nothing short of exceptional. Each dish was expertly prepared, with fresh, high-quality ingredients that made every bite a delight. The menu offered a variety of options, catering to different tastes, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. Whether you’re a fan of classic dishes or looking to try something new, Sweetfire Kitchen delivers on all fronts. The drinks were equally impressive, with a well-curated selection of cocktails, wines, and other beverages. Each drink was crafted with care, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to our meal. It’s clear that the bar staff knows their craft, as every sip was a treat. What truly set the evening apart, though, was the impeccable service. The wait staff was professional, attentive, and seemed to anticipate our needs before we even had to ask. They struck the perfect balance between being present and giving us space to enjoy our meal and conversation. Their knowledge of the menu and genuine friendliness added to the overall experience. The ambiance of Sweetfire Kitchen is another highlight. The décor is elegant yet comfortable, creating a relaxed environment that encourages you to linger over your meal. Whether you’re seated indoors with the stylish interior or on the patio enjoying the scenic views, the atmosphere adds to the overall charm of the restaurant. In short, Sweetfire Kitchen at La Cantera Resort and Spa offers a dining experience that is truly outstanding. The combination of fantastic food, expertly crafted drinks, professional service, and a wonderful atmosphere made for an unforgettable evening. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special place to dine in San Antonio.More infoSweetfire Kitchen - La Cantera Resort and SpaPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• La Cantera•4.7
- BBrendavipSan Antonio •77 reviews4.0Dined on Aug 8, 2024The bar is raised pretty high to be a restaurant located within the precious walls of La Cantera. As a stand-alone cantina, Primero would be popular; but within this high-end resort, the challenge to deliver superior food, service, and ambience is quite a bit higher than the norm. So what are visitors led to expect? BETTER food. BETTER service. And BETTER ambiance! Granted, Mexican dishes are pretty predictable. That is where the challenge begins: creative beverage options, uniquely presented and prepared dishes, and comfortable surroundings. Our server, Andrea, was attentive until the end of the meal when we waited too long for the ticket. It was more than adequate , but nothing really special.More infoPrimero Cantina - La Cantera Resort & SpaPrice: Moderate• Mexican• La Cantera•3.9
