We were pleasantly surprised by the cornbread, with its more umami-forward flavor and bits of corn and chiles woven in to give it more variability in flavor and texture. We were a little underwhelmed with the short rib, as the portion size for the amount of meat was a little on the smaller side. We were happy with the pork shoulder tacos as it was flavorful and tender. We were wow’ed by the quinoa chili bowl, as it was not only beautifully presented, but also packed with complexity. We also ordered some drinks which were well crafted to pair with our meals.
