A dedicated staff who listens and goes above and beyond to make the atmosphere for your occasion perfect. The best Prime Rib I have ever tasted. The sides are made with incredible care for not just taste but presentation and creativity. The chef certainly is ahead of many others in talent I've encountered by far.
This restaurant is spectacular and the food was awesome. The manager and waitress was very attentive. The atmosphere was awesome also. I never knew this restaurant was there. Will surely make another reservation in the near future
Had the filet. Price was high - steak was below average. If you are going to charge 20% more, it should be amazing....
Very good service, attentive friendly staff and great food!
Looking forward to visiting again soon!
I'd come here even if it wasn't in the casino! I've been here three times and have allways found it enjoyable. LOVE all the bourbons!!!
Love Bourbons 72.. We’re regulars.. they rarely disappoint! Frank, the maitre d / manager is awesome! Food is excellent and so is the atmosphere. Our only complaint is in the lounge/ bar area... service isn’t great in the bar. The service is excellent in the restaurant however. Totally recommend!
Frank and his crew are great . Frank always takes the time to stop and say hello and ask about your meal . His staff are friendly and all appear to enjoy there jobs.
We had z great experience with restaurant week. The prices were right to finally try Bourbon 72. The food was excellent and service was great. Our server Janelle was cute, friendly and very smiley. She was knowledgeable about the food and presented her self very well even as young as she is.
For me, I think the prices are to high for dinner, but if you want the experience then, a one time go is ok. It's a smokey casino and it's a bummer you have to walk through the casino to enter restaurant.
Great room, quiet, attentive server, no eating. Wines great and Pappy was a nice surprise as well. I had steak and wife had Hallibut and both were perfectly cooked. Appetizers and desserts were both worth the trip.
Food was wonderful, service was great, a great evening.
Celebrating two birthdays in fun, friendly and tasty restaurant.
It was restaurant week in Traverse City and Bourbon 72 had great choices. We had the halibut and the seafood scampi. Both were excellent.
Food was delicious and phenomenal. The service was next to none definitely 5 stars. A professional restaurant a cut above the rest. Keep up the awesome work. Cant wait to go back.
Never had a bad meal there - service is excellent and food was even better. Definitely worth the money.
Wayyyyy overpriced for what you receive. Never go again.
The food was good but not for the outrageous price. The host was awesome but the waiter was slow and had no personality.
GREAT EXPERIENCE. We had a great meal also the night we were there they had a person playing the harp which added to our dining experience.
Didn't come close to my expectations. Overall experience was disappointing including the food. Won't go back
High priced low flavor I was beyond disappointed with food . Service was great very clean. Just food was of a two star not a five star restaurant.
I wish you offered small plates in the restaurant. Not everyone wants a full entree.
Janelle was excellent Frank and the staff are great. Food and presentation were great.
Accommodations we're great! Potatoes cold, carrots burnt, salmon good & steak gr8. Brothers onion soup disappointing
All bread, gooey, hardly any onions & broth. We we're given comps for dinner, so nothing was said about the food at the time.
New Years Eve dinner was excellent.
It was a holiday night but SERIOUSLY $70 for an average size slice of prime rib? Going to Burbons has been a New Year tradition for about 5 years now. We left feeling it wasn't worth it this year and will not return next year.
Amazing food and the atmosphere is beautiful. The salmon is delicious. Chocolate cake😘
This was the first time we had dined at Bourbons and it was a pleasure. Food was delicious, wait staff were awesome and it was an enjoyable Christmas dinner. We will definitely go back. Thank you.
Bourbons has been our “Go/To” for the last couple of Holidays & we love it. The food, the service, the atmosphere, we’ll be back!
Everyone was very good at their job. Very pleasant very professional. My steak was cook to perfection but. The cut of meat was poor. My wife’s gnocchi was overcooked then not pan fried well. Tasted great. Texturally horrible. Great presentation, poor execution.
Always an amazing time! Fabulous service! Proud to take friends and family here for an outstanding experience!
Great experience as always. although this time waitress could have been more attentive.
Outstanding as always! Frank is a fantastic host. Our waitress Janelle is the best.
Frank is always excellent. My steak was a bit overdone but graciously bought me a glass of wine as an apology. And while the steak was a bit overdone, the flavor was delicious. My husband had prime rib and said it was delicious.
Bourbons 72 is wonderful. The food was great. The staff was wonderful. The wine list was excellent. I highly recommend it for a wonderful evening.
I took my grandmother out for her 84th birthday. She had the walleye and I had the filet, both cooked perfectly. Our waitress did an amazing job. My grandmother said it was best meal and night she has had in a very long time, and I would have to agree. This is the perfect place for any occasion. High quality food for a price, but worth every dollar.
Very much enjoyed our dinner on Oct. 1st. Went again the next night for a light meal in the bar area - onion soup and a small plate. Just what we needed.
We always have a great dinner there and from a price point perspective they are 5 stars... We had the calamari (interesting spin with peppery and nuts), I couldn't finish the petite prime rib (and I'm a big eater) and it was delicious and tender as butter. The Brussels sprouts were outstanding. Drink size and pricing was better than average. I was too stuffed to do dessert. The servers and maitre d were very attentive without being over bearing.
Server rude. Way over priced. Too bright.
It was fine, but it wasn't anything special. We ordered 2 New York strips and 1 risotto side to split (because the steaks come Ala Carte). We ordered a draft beer and a bottled cider. We paid $170 with tip. It was our anniversary and we were celebrating, they asked us about that at the reservation site but they never mentioned it during our dinner. It was just okay. Overpriced, and we didn't feel the food was outstanding to make it worth it. There was nothing to complain about, there was just nothing to be excited over.
I have recommended before. Prices seem a lot higher. Locals will have a hard time paying these prices.
