   Our server was amazing, knew about the bourbon and food. The food was amazing and atmosphere was great!

   High top table of 8 One meal got missed but was corrected when told Food was great Raw oysters were outstanding Server would have gotten a 5 if not for the miss

   Experience was just so-so. Not crowded at all for a 7:30 reservation- which was telling. Asked for a window seat, but was told it was reserved (although no one ever sat there while we dined). I got a salad with grilled shrimp- just ok. My husband got shrimp and grits which was very good. Cajun shrimp and crab balls were mediocre. The bourbon flight was good. The wine pour was pretty skimpy (but I can’t complain because it was cheap!)

   We had a fabulous dinner, with char-grilled oysters to start us off, delicious seafood entrees, and a tasty assortment of desserts. Waldasia took great care of us, and we were very grateful for her recommendations and friendly service.

   We arrived a little early (6:30. for a 7pm reservation). we were seated soon after at a very small table for two. It was really too small and awkward when various food items were served. There were plenty of 4 tops available at the time. Our service was okay. I think communication was the problem. We ordered a dozen oysters to start and two drinks, one a dirty martini, which was too dirty. Wanted a gin martini, but gin options were very limited, so opted for vodka.We delayed ordering our entrée until we were through with the oysters. Later, our server stopped by and commented on what we both thought was how good the bread was. There was a very long time before she came by again and asked if we wanted dessert? We informed her we wanted to order our entrée. No apologies were given. We chose the Bourbon House because of our last visit several years ago. Overall, it was a very nice restaurant, but it could use a little more attention to detail.

   The food was amazing. We had a party of7 for a birthday and they had a balloon and card signed by the staff for the birthday girl. The food was brought out quickly and everything tasted great. Prices were perfect. Our waitress was very attentive and did a wonderful job. We will be back.

    Best meal that we had in our stay here. Our server, Terrence, was very knowledgeable of the menu and made great recommendations. The charbroiled oysters were amazing and had great flavor. Great appetizer! Shrimp and grits and the alligator and crawfish as main courses can’t be beat. Try out the Bourbon House, you won’t be disappointed.
