I was so excited when Boulevard reopened after a long hiatus, only to read that they were close to closing pre-pandemic! I love the new menu, I'm not sure I love the pre-fixe route with all the supplement add on's but whatever, let's see if it catches on. Pre-fixe is not required in the bar so that's good. The food and service were lovely. The ambiance hasn't changed at all from what I remember - a few new updated decor things but still a magical vibe. We had a wonderful evening.

So good to be back to one of our favorite restaurants in SF. The menu format has changed from a la carte to 3 or 4 course fixed price ($89 or $115). The selections to choose from were excellent for our taste. For appetizers we had the King Crab Pasta and Hamachi w/avocado. For Mains we had Pork Chop and Halibut. We then shared 1 cheese course and 1 carrot cake for desert. The food taste and presentation were fantastic overall. The pacing and service were friendly and wonderful as always. We recognized many staff members from before COVID closure. The hostess commented that they got back approximately 70% of their pre-pandemic employees. If you are wondering if Boulevard is as good as you remember it last, our answer is an emphatic YES.
Read that the restaurant was reopening and my wife and I decided to celebrate our anniversary there. It did not disappoint. Staff was welcoming and friendly from start to finish and,as has always been the case,the food was terrific.

Excellent food, wonderful drinks and wine, and great service in a room with great ambiance. The dinner lasted 3 hours and was spaced just perfectly. A perfect experience.
This is our favorite “go to” restaurant for all special occasions. It is great that Boulevard is open again. As with everything good these days, prices have risen significantly but we need to support our favorite businesses.

Excellent from the moment we walked in to our farewell. Food , wine, service and new decor were so thoughtful and highly superior to all experiences thus far in the bay. Professionalism at the highest levels across the board without the sense of pretentious attitude. All of the small touches made this meal as special as a holiday.

The food, ambiance, service, and wine list are absolutely stellar. Highlights were crab tagliatelle, short ribs, rack of lamb, and the dark chocolate dessert. All paired quite well with the fabulous 2017 Louis Michel & Fils Premier Cru Butteaux Chablis and 2012 Chave L'Hermitage. Thanks to Gina and John! Our evening was amazing and we are so glad they have reopened!

To begin, the environment and service is still top drawer. A beautiful room. If only the food was as impressive.
The starters were OK, but nothing that generated a 'wow!'
The Halibut was dry. The signature pork chop was unimpressive. $20 for a standard drink... And most annoying, a $50 corkage!
Boulevard will continue to impress tourists and business groups, but this long time regular will be dining elsewhere.
They’re back!! So nice to settle in for a wonderful dinner. We supported them through their take out phase and their outside phase but nothing beats the real dining experience. Updated decor is perfect -refreshed but didn’t change the Belle Époque feel. Food was just as we remembered it -nicely done, fresh ingredients. Service was also good. The staff are clearly excited to be back.
It is wonderful that Boulevard is back, as good if not better than before. The prix fixe format is excellent. The cuisine was fantastic. John Lancaster is at the top of his game with a perfectly curated wine list

The restaurant recently reopened after conducting a renovation. We traveled from the east coast and couldnt wait to experience Boulevard again. We were not disappointed.

This visit was my second, and the service was everything but as attentive as my first. The staff at the door made sure the guests had their vaccine card. I also celebrated almy birthday and the card I received was lovely. The wine suggestion from the sommelier was exquisite and the food was heaven sent. I cannot wait to go back.

We were able to snatch a table on the last weekend before the latest Covid shutdown and it was truly a special evening for that and many other reasons. Thanks Dino for the great recommendations and for taking wonderful care of us, and to the host (Amir?) who showed us the beautifully renovated dining room. Boulevard is a wonderful restaurant - it still has inventive, delicious food, a terrific wine list and incredible service. The price is the only difficult thing to swallow. If you're willing to pay $100+ per person, then head over to Boulevard. It's terrific for a special occasion.
The set-up for dining outside is excellent - it's a warm, inviting atmosphere. Please note, though, they are closing for a while. Watch for the re-opening date, and meantime save some $$$$$ for your dinner at Boulevard when it reopens.

We really enjoyed our pandemic period experience here!! The food was wonderful, the parklet was elegant, the view of the lit up bridge was gorgeous and the heaters were wonderfully sufficient. It was such a nice experience- thank you!!
