The dining room features a 3 course prix fixe menu with a multitude of choices. For the more spontaneous sorts; our bar, lounge and chef's counter is available on a walk-in basis and limited reservations. An a la carte menu is offered in these areas.     Multiple dates available
    MAX 12 guests: The wine vault is a semi private space near the main dining room that seats up to 12 guests. There is a minimum food and beverage spend of $2,200 regardless of the number of guests. There are ADDITIONAL fees of 8.63% tax, 6% SF Mandates and a 23% service charge. These fees are non-negotiable. The menu offered is the same as the dining room (a multi-selection prix fixe menu). Cancellations less than 48 hours in advance will be charged $750. Corkage is $50 per bottle for the first two, then $75 per bottle after. Please note the room is actively used as a wine cellar during service. There is no additional space for a reception.

    The food was good but the service was actually terrible. From the rude host to the waiter who brought us one course while we were still eating another then made us wait 25 mins after clearing that course for the main, to the manager who said they did “hundreds” of covers a night and don’t have complaints. I wouldn’t go back for free. There are many better ways to spend $500 for dinner in SF. ETA: I forgot to add that our reservation was at 8 and we weren’t seated until after 830 despite being right on time. No apologies or even acknowledgement that happened.

    Used to eat here regularly but their fixed priced menu was only adequate, but certainly overpriced. No ala-carte menu was available. Great ambiance with quality service but some dishes were disappointing as we walked out with close to a $350 bill (pre tip). Simply not worth it!!!!

    The service was solid; the waiter was knowledgeable and professional. The food was outstanding: panzanella salad, pork chop and the chocolate cake. This is the best looking dining room in which I've ever eaten; the decor is beautiful.

    it was just OK, and that’s the problem. for example the filet was just a cooked piece of meat, no sauce and very minimal seasoning(and it was not very tender)

    Brought my wife here for her birthday dinner, for the second year in a row, and had an amazing meal. Impeccable service. Delicious food. Superb wine list. Lovely old school decor. A San Francisco gem that should not be missed.

    Jin was our server for a special birthday celebration. He was wonderful helping us navigate the menu. We ended up with lovely dishes and an incredible meal. The endive salad, hen main, and affogato were delish! My friends loved the pork, the sole and the stout cake. The pirate punch cocktail was so yummy. And Jin’s service was impeccable, even with our rowdy table of friends. We look forward to returning!

    We had eaten here several time before Covid. Now, the cost of the food was too much for what you get. We will not be returning again.
