Booking Office 1869 is offering an exciting new drinking and dining destination in the heart of King's Cross. The bar and restaurant is open from 12:00pm to Midnight every day. A reimagining of the station's original, 19th century ticket hall, celebrated French designer Hugo Toro has created a Victorian-style Winter Garden, showcasing a visual dialogue with the space's extraordinary heritage.

We had an excellent meal before heading to the Theatre. They were accommodating of our time table and the service was excellent. We even were able to experience the 5:05 surprise. It was a perfect way to celebrate our 18th wedding anniversary. Thank you to all the staff!

Venue fitted out is great. Food was hit and miss with starters a lot better than mains. Service was good at a level you would expect. Music / vibe was a little let down on a for a Friday night. Would go back for a drink at the bar as the space is pretty cool rather than have dinner. However, music was low enough to allow an easy flowing conversation over dinner.

A wonderful venue - amazing decor - and considering where it is, not outrageously expensive. The starters and desert were delicious and the aubergine main course was unusual and very much enjoyed by my friends. My trout was a bit disappointingly tasteless. I will definitely return.

The space is lovely and the staff very friendly. Food was delicious but the mains portions are very small. Drinks are extremely expensive so we ended up with a bill of £115 for two with starters and sharing a main. A glass of Chablis was £17... So very nice place but in my mind, way too expensive.

The wait for our drinks order to be taken was over 30 minutes, and it took 45 minutes for our first drinks to arrive after arriving. The hosts are polite, but the system seems to be a little broken. Of course, the food and decor is beautiful and I visit here when you have time would be recommended.
