What Insiders Are Saying
Bones in Capitol Hill has a small but reliable Asian fusion menu, and patio and the open kitchen make it a surprisingly great place for a date
Ramen was amazing. Service was great. Amazing experience
This restaurant was delicious and was perfect for a date night.
We had never been here before and wanted to try something new for our anniversary dinner. Both of us agreed that we could not have picked a better spot for us. We tried all different kinds of new foods with new flavors. My wife is not a fan of anything spicy. However, that night she ate anything they made. The Spicy Crispy Chicken Ramen is amazing, but it is spicy. These folks know how to cook spicy well. It is enjoyable and doesn't just make you sweat all over your meal.
We thought this place was so good, our son wants to go on his 9th birthday to see what all the fuss is about!
Bones is one of our favorite spots. One of the best ramen dishes in town!
Love this place. Everything on the menu is AWESOME! Our friends enjoyed it too--it was their 1st time.
Had buns, ramen and the crispy brussel sprouts and cauliflower. The buns were pretty good. So was the ramen -- not amazing but good. The brussel sprouts and cauliflower were awesome. I love the open kitchen and how small it is.
Great service and excellent food. We both enjoyed the experience. Seemed to be a very authentic Ramen experience. Small space and intimate atmosphere due to close quarters.
Sobs and pork buns. Fantastic as always. My fav buns in the city.
A long standing Ramen(plus) in the South Cap Hill area. Lovely little spot in the “Bonanno Block.” Can’t go wrong with the Buns followed by Lobster or Green Chili Pork Ramens.
Fantastic food, great service! Fun place, Sake tasting menu, Interesting food menu, lots of flavor and spice! Not the place for vegetarians, but good options if you like seafood.
Don't get me wrong the food was great. The service was fantastic. We called that morning changing our reservations from 4 to 6 and they were very accommodating on a Saturday night. Just not sure if the food was worth what we paid and the space was just so small. Hard to celebrate in a space like that.
Super yummy food in a cozy corner spot. We really enjoyed the steamed buns and the ramen. Loved the vibe and would definitely go back.
It was very good- chicken ramen was great. Lobster was too simple. It smells like the fryer in the restaurant and out clothes did not smell good after we left.
Lobster ramen is amazing! It isn’t traditional ramen more like a fusion but is still really really good!!!!!
Great local spot with delicious, filling noodles and amazing buns. Prompt service, quiet location makes for easy going lunch/dinner spot.
I absolutely love this place! I dine here every time I come back to Denver from New York City. Lobster Ramen is to die for. So happy to bring my boyfriend here for the first time this visit. I hate that I will have to wait a year until I am back. Fantastic, innovative menu and great cocktails too!
The service was good, the sake flight was bomb. I really appreciate the attempts at making unique ramen, but I think it fell flat for both the dishes my husband and I had. Perhaps if we tried something else it would have been fine.
The steamed buns were a bit greasy, the wagyu beef ramen was alright but the broth was oddly tart/sour - must have been the fennel - but the beef itself was amazing. The pork green chile ramen was spiced well but the flavor profile didn't work for my husband.
Ultimately I suppose it was our fault for not realizing this was nouveau cuisine.
As always, the steam buns are a can't miss. Love the variety and uniqueness of the noodle bowls. Delicious!
Everything was kind of underwhelming, especially for the price. They have either changed their lobster ramen or they're just not doing as good of a job at it as they used to. It's a bummer, Bones used to be one of my favorite restaurants but at this point I think there are several better options for the same type of food in the same price range.
We really wanted to love this place because of the location and atmosphere but for the price, I would say the ramen is so so. The sticky pork buns were awesome though!
Normally great food, but seemed like an off night. Brussels sprouts were inedible due to too much salt and seasoning, the buns were very good, but neither of our bowls of ramen were very good. Definitely disappointing, but the silver lining was the good service.
could have been a nicer piece of bone-marrow but overall great food
I love the food at Bones. On this recent visit, the restaurant was freezing! Everyone was eating in their coat (the weather had just changed to very cold outside). And the music in the background was way too loud--much louder than I remember on other visits, so that a conversation with my partner was impossible. I will return when the weather is warm and we can eat outside!
The food was basically inedible. It was incredibly hot and stuffy in the restaurant. I’ll never go back.
I've been coming here for years. The food is phenomenal and while the menu doesn't suggest it, they'll accommodate all kinds of dietary restrictions readily. I love Bones. That will probably never change.
Bones is a neighborhood gem and has fantastic food. A concise menu that covers it all! Great friendly service and intimate setting. Absolutely would recommend to a friend for a upscale ramen house with a decent price point!
I mean really!?! Best steamed buns in town!
It was dope!
Went with 3 other friends for my birthday and they brought us all sparkling sake on the house as a gift! Been here a few times now and love it :) def get the steamed buns!
Not as enjoyable as last time we visited, about half a year ago. Service was fine, ambiance great, clean and professional, as usual. But the food was mediocre. The Korean bbq sandwich was a chicken breast in pretty good sauce, with tater tots, of all things. The Kimchi flavor made it vaguely interesting, but overall, would not recommend. Spicy Red Miso Crispy Chicken was very flavorful, but was seriously lacking in noodles. Seemed like only half a serving of noodles. The broth, while tasty, seemed the main part of the dish. Used to be a fan. Am now confused.
Delicious and pretty authentic ramen. The buns melted in your mouth and the spicy chicken ramen was perfect in the cold weather. So yummy!
We've come, not too often, but over years. What is remarkable is that the quality is still high, the service good and the food is delicious.
Amazing Ramen as always! The pork buns are some of the best we’ve ever had.
The Spicy Chicken Ramen and Lobster Ramen were both bland and didn't really have much flavor. The Steamed Buns with pork were amazing, though. I would go back, but only to grab appetizers and more of the steamed buns, but I was expecting the ramen dishes to be much better than they were.
This place take ramen to a whole new level. All the protiens are great with flavorful spices and broths that match every type of protein. The lobster Ramen with the ber blanc broth is the highlight of the menu. But go for anything and you won’t be disappointed! Cheers
My udon pork dish was superb. I was here for a business lunch but I couldn't help but spill broth in my enthusiastic embrace. I am coming back in casual attire next time.
The lobster ramen was amazing!!
I want to eat their escargot potstickers for the rest of my life. There were some minor issues like being charged for something we didn't order but it was taken care of efficiently. I definitely want to go back!
