As a lover of ramen I was thoroughly pleased with my meal. I had the braised pork and udon ramen and found it quite delish. My bf had the spicy chicken and while it was more traditional ramen it didn't lack in any flavor or complexity. Will be returning!
Lobster noodle pot is outstanding and the service excellent. Everyone is always so friendly and genuinely seem like they love their work! Highly recommend. And with the Open Table reservation you are treated with highest priority, did not wait for our table while others without reservations before us did.
Buns were great, fantastic Ramen. Huge win and cocktail list. Will def frequent again.
Appreciate the friendly staff and ability to make a quick reservation and meal order by phone/online.
Everything would have been perfect if it wasn't ruined by the MASSIVE amount of garlic they put in the ramen. The noodles and meat would have been delicious, but we couldn't stand to get halfway through it before giving up. I like garlic, but not like that. If they lessened the garlic, this would be an incredible place. But it was seriously that bad, I'm sorry.
Awesome place!!! I have a new love for Soba and Tuna!
I heard great reviews of Bones and was excited to go out for my birthday. I was throughly disappointed. Prior to attending I made a request to have a window seat and to inform them we were celebrating an occasion. We made a reservation and arrived to find out they didn’t have a table ready for us. Not only were we seated at the crowded bar and never given a table but the service was not attentive. The food was okay but I have had much better for the price. Overall I would not recommend, especially not for a special occasion.
Bones overall was very good. The service was fantastic and they offered a variety of meal options. I can be a bit picky over certain styles of Asian food but i can't fault the restaurant on this.
We tried Bones for the first time and we really enjoyed the food that we ordered. We will return!
The lobster ramen wasn't as good as I remembered, but the steamed buns were delicious. They weren't very busy, but it took quite some time for our server to come over and get our drink order. The service most definitely wasn't up to my standards, and likely won't be going back for quite some time.
Great food, great chefs, great staff! Great noodles!
Super friendly and accommodating!
Our reservation was dinner at doors opening and staff was very welcoming. Cocktails; Bones G&T and Tokyo Sour were terrific. The steamed bun with pork belly appetizer is a favorite. Our choice entrée was the Pork green Chile Ramen and Waygu Beef Ramen and they are delicious. The over the top desert of a churro ice cream sandwich was a tasty finish.
Bones's small size and open kitchen create a vibrant, fun atmosphere. We came for Restaurant Week, which was a great value. Everything we ordered was delicious, especially the pork belly steamed buns, the tuna poke bowl, and the pannacotta. The wine we ordered was very reasonably priced and delicious. The service was also very good - we were early for our reservation, but our table was ready, and we were never waiting for the servers.
It was fantastic!
Bones has a very nice atmosphere and very friendly staff! It was a great place for a casual date. Their pork udon and sparkling sake were delicious!!
We ate at Bones during Restaurant Week. The food was superb, and the service was spot on> We will definitely come back to try other things on their menu.
Restaurant week! Loved the lobster ramen, pork udon was a little intense for me. Glad we tried Bones!
We had some pretty good food here, great service, cute little place in a fun location. The appetizer buns were awesome and our server recommended great stuff. Would absolutely return.
Food excellent, wait staff excellent. The only negative was the very first comment by the host who, when I asked for a table away from the door, remarked “well, we do have a lot of reservations tonight.”
I was one of those reservations so it just came across as snarky.
We went to restaurant week and did the set menu. It was Ok. One of the group ordered the buns and they were delivered15 minutes after our appetizers were delivered. Dessert was weird.
Yummy food and good service to celebrate Lisa’s birthday.
We had rude service for our date night. The appetizers were fine, but the ramen was horrible. I wouldn’t even call it that. The broth tasted like dirty water.
Went here for the ramen, but everything else looks great too. Ramen was good! Broth is lighter than most other ramen places which makes it less heavy on your stomach. It's a small place, so getting a reservation is worth it, and they are very accommodating. Price is a little higher but overall a great place to catch up with a friend or go on a date. Small groups are better for this place, it's not super big inside.
Always like their good sake selection. Always goes well with the wonderful lobster ramen.
Bones has its own funky charm, but while there's very little ambience, the fusion menu is outrageously good. I always get the steamed buns with braised pork appetizer; this time we added duck potsticker dumplings too. Always ask for the nightly specials. If they don't jazz you, the lobster ramen or crispy chicken ramen are both brilliant regulars.
Food and service was excellent. The music was a little too loud. We had to yell across of the table.
Went to Bones for a date night after a friend recommended it and LOVED it! I have never had ramen before, but the waitress helped me decide what to order, and it was delicious. We ordered some appetizers and the staff was so kind when one of them took a long time to come out. They gave us a free app, which was totally unnecessary because we were having such a great time with our drinks in the fun atmosphere! But also very appreciative for that! This is going to be my new regular spot for sure. Make a reservation though, they are packed!
A bit pricy, but decent! I will come back for more.
The prices for items that are not available on the Happy Hour menu are much too high for what you get. The margaritas at Happy Hour are very good. I would not go to this restaurant if it was
outside of Happy Hour.
Great Ramen, cocktails, and appetizers- especially the buns. Flexible staff allows you to mix and match ingredients and broths. Great ambiance too! Overall experience was great!
Does not disappoint. Still my favorite place in Denver!
Some of the food was tasty but I found most of it too salty It was not as good as when we came previously. The dessert was fine but a bit too sweet and lacking in complexity.
We had the lobster ramen, the green chile ramen, the steamed buns and the shisito peppers. The waiter forgot to put our order in for the steamed buns so he gave us the shisito peppers for free while we waited. Big portions and really flavorful ramen. It did not disappoint.
The place had a cozy vibe which was perfect for a Sunday evening but I could see it even more lively when completely full. Great service and great food!
Pro Tip: if you get the steamed buns ask to try all three flavors!
It was nice and cozy. Food was spectacular.
Wasn't my favorite. Too much money and did not care for the taste of the food.
Bones was great! Loved everything we ordered. They were out of pork belly though so I'll definitely be back for that soon.
Tasty food options, basically noodle bowls with a sophisticated flair. Nice options on Happy Hour. Main downfall is the exhaust system. Previous reviews indicated that the ventilation system was poor in the restaurant - I didn't consider this as an issue or thought it may have been something temporary, however, it was an issue. The exhaust isn't powerful enough to remove the cooking smells and a slight "fog" in the air from the moisture of cooking - your entire body and clothing will smell like the restaurant - brand new coat will need to be dry-cleaned. If this isn't a concern and you enjoy noodle bowls, it can be worth a try.
Lovely experience. The food, service and drinks were phenomenal. Highly recommend
The steamed buns were excellent. Delicious Ramen with creative combinations. Great service! It was super noisy. But, considering it was a small space, it didn’t take away from the experience at all. So glad we went.
