Our first time there. The food was delicious and the waitress was very helpful in helping us pick our food. We love Tapas. It’s definitely a sharing experience. All the food was very tasty. Loved the Brussel sprout dish. The paella was excellent. Just remember don’t be in a hurry the paella takes a while to make from scratch but definitely worth the wait. I had a glass of Chardonnay. It was also delicious.

My wife and I went to Bolero for our anniversary. We sat outside on the patio with a beautiful view of the vineyards. Food was amazing, particularly the steak and paella. Our server was very accommodating. We enjoyed a bottle of red wine from their winery. Wonderful afternoon!

Unfortunately, we had a horrible waiter. He was curt, sarcastic and inattentive. He made us feel like we were bothering him. He forgot one of our food dishes in the kitchen and brought it out cold. After we finished the main course, he brought a dessert menu. He tossed it on the table and said “let me know if you want dessert or the bill.” Rude

We have always chosen Bolero because of its high level of sophistication in serving / knowledge of wine and service. The place was a crazy zoo. I get that the patio are will get busy and there was a wedding but what I don’t understand is why you would let the restaurant be turned in to a fast food area. The waitress while very nice basically wrote our orders down like a diner. There was no table cloth. No explanation. Of the wine we had decanted. It was sloppily poured kn with out the usual explanation and attention to detail. It was a fast food dining experience. The food was basically slung on the tables. No comment like this is this enjoy. Nothing. The bus boys had difficulty keeping up so plates piled up. The other guests were never asked if they wanted anything. Then to top it off it was a special occasion. They did not ask if we wanted dessert. We were hurried and basically you could tell even though the restaurant was full they wanted us gone. Soooo far from when we first came years ago. Such a disappointing experience. The food was still great and amazing. But wow. No one is managing the crowds. The patio beforehand was over run. No one in wine country was serving tapas at 400 so everyone comes to you for food alon the patio. Perhaps limit the menu and prepare for that rush. It was so frenetic. We looked forward to going inside but alas it was the same crazy pace. So sad!

We have dined at bolero before and were underwhelmed by our visit this time around. I am not sure if the sever forgot to put in one of our orders or if the kitchen ran out of something but it didn’t arrive until well after the rest of our dishes had been delivered and eaten. When we arrived at our reservation time they were also unaware if they had a table available for us, all together it was just a sub par experience versus our other times dining here. We hope to give them another chance to redeem themselves the next time we’re out int Temecula. The food we did receive was delightful.

Excellent service, wonderful food (especially the pulpo), but quite expensive for the price! We had the paella for 2 which was very good but the amount you get for the price was a bit on the smaller side.

The wine and the food were amazing. This is why I give it a high rating because it really carried the experience. The service was very poor. Took nearly 45min after being seated to be able to put in our order, then they forgot one of our guests at the tables food order. Had to get up and hunt down someone to tell them. Only saw our waitress to take our order and give us our check. Never asked if we wanted more wine, never checked on the table.
