Food was delicious
We celebrated 10 years together. Bol was exactly what we were looking for. The food was outstanding, service was quick and friendly. The ambiance reminded me of a lounge in a downtown major city but it was well priced. I loved that you could dress up or just show up in jeans. It’s family friendly or date night perfection. 10 out of 10 in my book.
Happy they were open. Seems they were busier than expected this leading to a slightly disjointed service. All in all, good food, decent value for Vail and great location.
Wings, outstanding. Salads were good. Half chicken was amazing.
We would go back for sure.
Food was good but service was really pretty bad. Slow, forgetful.
Got a great table outside. Service and food were excellent.
I absolutely love Bol. Our family have been dining there since it opened. Unfortunately, we chose to eat here for our first restaurant experience since covid. The wait staff made us feel so nervous, it wasn’t worth it. The night started with the waitstaff coming to our table to take our order with NO MASK ON! She then said, standing 2’ from us, “oh yeah, let me put my mask on.” Then, the person bringing us our food had his mask halfway down his mouth, not covering is nose whatsoever. I’m beyond horrified by this health negligence. I truly hope this turns around and the restaurant adheres to safety. It is a shame. We love it there.
Great stop while on summer vacation
If you do this through Open Table you don’t get bowling! We were very disappointed when we arrived at our reservation and found out that the bowling is a completely different reservation. So ... if you want to Bowl make a reservation with Bol directly because it won’t be connected with your Open Table reservation. The food is ok. The bowling the FOLLOWING NIGHT was so much fun! BOL was worth it so do that for sure!!!!
I would recommend Bol to friends but i would tell them it is so noisy, hard to talk across tables because tables are so wide.
Great restaurant and service. Thanks for the great experience!
Bowling reservations are separate than dinner reservations, book well in advance, alleys fill up quickly.
I am writing a review in hops that it will either be fixed by the restaurant or with OpenTable. Be careful when booking a reservation as it is ONLY a reservation to dine. If you want to reserve a lane and bowl then you have to do directly. Had this reservation for over a month and when we arrived we were told we did not reserve a bowling lane and were seated in main dining room.
Sat for 70 minutes before getting food (apps). This place is more of a bowling ally than a restaurant. The service was poor and the food was below average.
Service was so inattentive that we had to ask a manager to finish our meal with a dessert order and after dinner drinks. Very loud room.
Amazing upscale comfort food
I go a few times a year, and I’m never disappointed
One problem...the drinks seem watered down
We were close to the door and there was a constant draft so we were chilly. The grilled cheese and soup was good but the duck ramen was a little bland.
Took a long time to get a waiter to even come to the table.
Great Food and Service!
Menu is nice and varied - something for everyone. Decor is stark, industrial. Noise level is very high - probably due to all the hard edges. Service is pleasant and efficient.
Excellent food and service. Great for families and groups.
One of my favorite spots in Vail for the combination of food, drink and unique bowling fun.
We had the honey glazed pork ribs and lamb lollipops...outstanding ! Great service and yummy cocktails...cant wait to come back
For the price tag, expected the food to be better. There’s much better restaurants for less in the vail area. The bowling part was fun, so next time we won’t eat in the dining area and just do snacks while bowling.
Our food was very good, but it took almost an hour to arrive at our table. One in our party had ordered a burger well done and it was way under-cooked. The burgers were delicious as were the chicken sliders. We had a very tasty meal--not sure why the service was so slow as the restaurant wasn't very busy.
Service and amviance great. Food great except for flatbread Margherita pizza was not crispy on bottom and too much cheese for what I know as Margherita pizza.
I have been to Bol for dinner before and didn't remember it being as noisy as it was this time. I liked it better when the vibe up front was different than the bowling alley!
Super place to take kids for dinner and bowling! There is a wonderful, open area in front of the restaurant where kids can play while waiting for dinner. Food was decent and bowling was first class!
Pet friendly patio dining.
Great Caesar Salad. Wine by glass selection lacking quality selections, but good bottle choices.
The lobster salad was NOT FRESH. (Maybe because Vail is NOT near an ocean?). I should have taken it back. It Didn’t agree with me. Other then that our other meal was ok.
The bowling atmosphere made it a fun experience. (We bowled after dinner for the 1st time in years). Our waitress was excellent and fun—Despite the kitchen being a little slow because of the crowd. Our food was delicious.
Very good service and food. Very relaxing for a dinner date.
Excellent share plates. Very nice ambiance, you'd never know that it is associated with bowling alley. Huge wine/liquor selection. Great service. We'll definitely return.
Service was slow. Super noisy with screams kids. Meatball appetizer was super dry and the salads were really watery. The ahi poke appetizer was delicious. Good wine too.
Pasamos un súper rato muy divertido e inolvidable con toda la familia, comimos riquísimo y jugamos súper felices!!! De seguro volveremos!!!
All very good
Food was pretty good for the price. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food.
Excellent waitress, loved sitting in a booth, and the food was delicious.such an interesting menu!
Food coming from the kitchen was a bit slow and timing was off. Appetizers took 25 mins and then entrees arrived 5 mins later. Also - the combination of ceramic plates and glass tables is NOT good. We all felt like we chasing our plates around the table to cut and pick up our food. Could use place mats or the like.
I got the ahi tuna poke and it was delicious, my son had the ribs and my other son got a steak. They said they were amazing. My husband got the bol burger and said it was just ok. The fries were really good. Drinks were delicious, cool vibe and great service. Prices were reasonable for Vail.
