   Bobby D's is an amazing neighborhood restaurant that I have enjoyed several times. I have recommended it to many people. My favorite entree is the short ribs. The house salad and the caesar salad are also excellent. The french onion soup is a real winner, as is the potato & leek. And you can't go wrong with the garlic sauted green beans or the brussel sprouts.

   I love Bobby D's Especially the short ribs. and the French Onion soup. and the potato and leek soup. and the house salad

   Price point and food good but-- Their signature dish short ribs was undercooked. It is fall off the bone dish and it was a cut off like steak dish. Good short ribs take 3-4 hours of slow cooking at low temp. Thye then fall off the bone like apot roast. Other dishes served were good.

   Terrific find in Rancho Santa Fe. The food was great and the price is outstanding. Our party of 4 all had a different meal choice and we all absolutely loved the food. Very anxious to try Breakfast or Lunch as well. Great place to enjoy conversation with friends and family.

   The absolute worst place to eat. The ribeye was disgusting. I ordered a dish and have an allergy and the waiter was told by the rude owner to serve it anyway. The owner is ignorant and has no business owing a restaurant!! Do yourself a favor and never go to this crappy restaurant

   As general manager, I was baffled why the chef thought shallots was substituted for garlic. Poor judgment call on our part and in the future we’ll be more mindful. Customer received an apology and complimentary entree.

   My husband and I are always looking for a new restaurant to try. It was late Saturday and tough to find an opening and we saw this restaurant listed. Our first impression was positive, very cute cozy atmosphere. We were surprised it wasn't busier. We have 9 year old twin boys, who are somewhat picky, but usually we can find things on an adult menu that they like. The only problem was the inflexibility of the kitchen. My one son wanted a rib eye steak, but only likes fries or mashed potatoes. I knew they had mashed potatoes, but for some reason they wouldn't swap the sides, they were going to charge me for an additional side. I believe that a restaurants attitude should be......sure, anything you want, we'll make it happen. I loved my rib eye steak and my son loved his short ribs. Both kids ordered desserts and loved them. I might talk my husband into go back and trying it again. Definitely not with the kids. Of course, they probably would be happy about that.

   The Saturday/Sunday brunch menu is fantastic and very well priced. We will be back.

   Small out of the way place, nice decor. We were there early on a Tuesday evening so there were only a couple other tables occupied. The waitress was attentive and helpful. Prices very reasonable. The rib-eyes were cooked perfectly. Nice, easy night out. Good option for a solid steak dinner.

    This charming little spot is an absolute treasure. We have eaten here a few times ... and each time, we can’t wait to return. It’s one of those gems where you can honestly tell your guests, “order anything on the menu - everything’s good!” Prices are great and service is friendly and respectful. Atmosphere is casual/upscale bistro. From a couple of the reviews, looks like they had a bad day on Valentine’s Day. Glad we weren’t there that day. But this is such a new place, I’m sure they weren’t prepared for what was probably an unexpectedly large crowd. While all the dishes we’ve tried are tasty, the ribeye is truly exceptional. You can order it any size you like, with incremental pricing. The restaurant is also open in the mornings (not Sundays) for a little buffet breakfast of scrambled eggs, meats, potatoes, fruit and pastries. Lunch menu is really well-priced. I think the coffee and pastry bar is offered all day long, along with a little market of wines, bottled soft drinks, and snacks. The coffee is really good.
