   As always we love Boathouse, and all the amazing food we have had there. Today’s , Morel event was not our favorite experience. The morel bisque was absolutely exquisite. The stuffed morel was unfortunately sold out at 7pm on Saturday so, I will venture a guess that it was outstanding. However, The wagyu rib cap was not what I expected it to be. I’m not a chef, nor do I claim to know much about cuts of fine aged beef. Which is why I looked up this particular cut and it was described as such ( a highly prized cut of beef that combines the rich flavor and marbling of a ribeye with the tenderness of a filet mignon. It is often considered one of the best cuts of meat due to its exceptional taste and texture) and by the description from our server as to how it was going to prepared l, I was all in. This isn’t what I experienced, my steak was very fatty and quite chewy, so I ate a few bites of the and took the remaining portion home with me . I was honest with our server that I didn’t really enjoy my entree and why, & she was very gracious and kind. The manager did comp my dessert and I was grateful , he didn’t have to do that. I ordered the meal, it just wasn’t my thing. I love this place and will forever tell others how fantastic it is, and we will definitely dine there when we get another chance. Thank you Boathouse for always being a great example of professionalism, with both your staff, and customer service.

   Went, specifically, for the advertised Morel Celebration, but our server wasn’t even aware of it being held. The main feature, the A5 Wagyu, wasn’t available as advertised. So, we ordered the surf & turf and it was fantastic as always.

   From the moment we stepped in the door we were greeted warmly and that feeling carried through the evening. Everyone from the bartender to the waitstaff were delightful. The menu was enticing and the presentation and taste devine! All in all a perfect night. Looking forward to returning.

   Absolutely LOVED our dinner at Boathouse. We came to celebrate my husbands birthday and the staff made it very special. Our first time here (first few times in Traverse City) and we will be back if we are in the area again!

   Great birthday dinner. It was my husband's birthday and we had a great view by the water with a card and chocolates. The food was great and so was the service. We always enjoy coming here

   Very enjoyable. I loved my lamb rack but my husband was disappointed in his flank steak.

   Excellent dinner but even better service!! Wagyu filet, wagyu meatballs (my fave), Greek salad, hubby had the walleye. Everything was amazing.
