A deposit of £50 per person is required on the reservation date, with a full refund if cancelled at least 2 weeks prior. Please note this is the only menu available

You know what you are coming for. Great location , lively crowd, good food and great service. Its an experience not a culinary adventure. Set your expectations correctly and you will not be disappointed.

Took a long time to order, waited a long time for the main course and the main course was not up to standard. The last waiter that came with the bill was lovely, but unfortunately Bluebird is not what it used to be.

Fabulous design. Nice choice of menu. My beef was cooked to perfection with fantastic roast potatoes. My daughter had salmon which was to die for. Very tasty. Lovely staff too! We had a really nice evening.

Disappointing experience overall. From the start, it was difficult to get the attention of the waitstaff — we had to wait a long time just to place our order, and no drinks menu was offered. When the food arrived, only two of the three meals came — the third (for the birthday girl, no less) was missing, as were the sides. Drinks came late, and again, it took far too long to get anyone’s attention to follow up on the order. By the time the missing items arrived, the rest of our food was cold. The manager did eventually step in, took the correct order, and asked how he could make things better — which we appreciated — but unfortunately, nothing was offered to make up for the experience. To top it off, when the bill came, the waiter bluntly told us we should be grateful for being allowed to stay longer than 1.5 hours — not exactly the kind of tone you want to end a birthday brunch on. We don’t mind paying a premium for good food and good service, but when that service falls short — especially when you can get better poached eggs, better coffee, and friendlier service elsewhere — it’s hard not to walk away disappointed.

It’s an iconic building, imaginatively and sympathetically decorated. Food was excellent, but service erratic and failed on 3 occasions - incorrect drinks brought to start with, wine ordered for main course did not arrive until this food was half-eaten, and only after prompting, and finally a coffee that was ordered never arrived but appeared on the bill. On the plus side we were very quickly moved when the noise level on the next table was disturbing us. The other guests were not rowdy, but a group enjoying themselves, in a space which amplifies noise levels to an unfortunate degree.

The afternoon tea service was rather disappointing and significantly overpriced given the overall experience. I found it to be quite overrated and, regrettably, would not recommend this venue to others.
