We’re more than oysters - we’re Colorado's best seafood restaurant! Opened 2017, this is Blue Island Oyster Bar & Seafood's flagship location. Our approach is to create honest food and drinks and serve them in a comfortable, casual environment. The restaurant’s culture is inspired by memories of growing up in coastal towns with families of oyster farmers and fishermen. Like them, we strive to bring you superb hospitality and delicious food with a commitment to the freshest seafood at reasonable prices. To ensure this commitment of quality, we’ve partnered with Chris Quartuccio of Blue Island Shellfish Farms in Long Island, NY to bring you nearly daily shipments of seasonal oysters and seafood, offering favorites such as Steamed Mussels, Lobster Rolls, Clam Chowder, Crab Cakes, and fish like halibut, Atlantic cod and salmon, to name a few. I wish they kept their old menu. Not happy with the value of what we were served. Love this place but not what it's become. Restaurant was empty compared to other times we've been. Not happy with our experience. Service was excellent as always.

Our experience was great. We had a lovely Easter lunch. The food was good, and the service was spot on. I took my aging parents, and the waiter was very attentive and patient with them. My parents enjoyed their food (shrimp and the filet medallions), and my mom called me later in the day to say that she really enjoyed it there and would love to go back.

Still one of our favorite spots! Even in the rare instance of an item being served undercooked or with a surprise ingredient, the management makes it right! Grilled Salmon and Kale Salad was a highlight this time!
