Not my first time here.

The service was attentive and professional- first class.
I am a very critical steak lover. The bone in rib eye was perfect. Good portion, perfect crust and exactly medium. One of the best ever. Finishing touches of a garlic bulb and bone marrow was an excellent compliment. I selected a wine that was a wrong pairing and even though my fault, BLT did not charge me for the glass. The following cab recommendation was spot on.

Small but significant, the sides of creamed spinach and corn were not as tasty as I had expected and I would think twice before ordering again.

All in all I would definitely come back for the service and the steak. However, the entire experience seemed pricey, more in line with somewhere with a sunset or great view.

Fantastic service. The GM checked in with our table to be sure our meal was delish and our service was great! The food was wonderful.... recommend partaking in the happy hour at the bar unless you want to drop a wad of cash!

Celebrated Valentine's Day and we tried some place new, BLT Steak in Waikiki. We got there early and had the prefix menu. At $85 each I was thinking this better be worth it. They started us off with a free hors d'oeuvre of a jelly and liver pate with bread. It wasn't something I'd normally eat but I tried it and liked it. For the appetizers she had the oysters and said they were good while I had the salad. We both ordered the filet and when it came it was larger than I was expecting. It was cooked perfectly with a slight crusty exterior and a moist and tender center. There was a foie gras patty on top of the steak. I have to be honest if I had known what it was I would not have eaten it. I'm glad I didn't know as it was delicious. The side choice was mushrooms or peppers and we selected the mushrooms. They were sautéed and seasoned and very tasty. The prefix doesn't come with a baked potato so we ordered one a la carte and as promised it was cooked throughly and big enough to cut in half and share and came with grated cheese, sour cream, bacon and chives. Dessert was a red velvet cake with a chocolate covered strawberry. Our server Edward was very friendly and helpful, and made our meal a great experience.

1. DO NOT order "seafood platter". Again, DO NOT order, trust me. It costs $110 and you will be definitely dissapointed. Oysters were especailly very small and you can simply consider them as empty shells. Also, giant shrimps were missing in the platter and the server even did not notice it until we pointed out. We hoped that that was a mistake.... Anway, after that, they served us cool and hot shrimps dishes as an appology but ruined our feeling...
2. We ordered rib-eye and porterhouse steaks, one was properly cooked as we ordered, but the other (porterhouse) was not cooked properly. Some part was medium but some other part of the meat was overcooked.
Conclusion: If you wanna have a good combination of seafood and steak, this is absolutely not the place. If you wanna enjoy good steak, still not a good place. But if you don't mind how much you pay and do not know what is the difference between medicum and well-done steak, this might be the one.
