Bloom & Bee
Fantastic service and wonderful ambience.
Was surprised. I find Fertitas places generally have average food. Especially once he buys places I used to love. So was really surprised to find that the food was excellent. I would recommend to anyone.
In my opinion, this restaurant is overrated. The ambiance is very nice. However, the food leaves you feeling you paid way too much for what was served.
Great atmosphere wonderful service. The food is amazing!!! You will be fully satisfied with the entire experience!
Gorgeous setting, vibrant color scheme. Service was not exceptional, definitely friendly and accomodating, but somewhat robotic and corporatized.
Food: We're vegetarian, and even though there were some creative options for us, they were scant. My wife doesn't like beets, and the only entree was a beet pasta. Prices were high, as well.
Would probably try the place again, but would like to see some addiitional options.
We were greeted promptly and graciously. Lovely decor and friendly waitstaff. For the most part, service was very good. I would not recommend the restaurant however. I’ve never spent $52 on a filet mignon that was served cut in half. Perhaps that was part of the presentation, but it wasn’t very hot and lost its natural juices. The red snapper has just a medallion in the middle of the plate, encircled by 4 asparagus and drizzled with balsamic.
Food was very good but service was not-had to ask for everything twice to receive it.
The restaurant had very few tables booked at the time we went but we were placed at a table looking directly into the kitchen. The noise level of the doors constantly swinging and the voices of the staff were very disturbing.
There was a large party seated beside us, even though there were many other tables open.
Finally, our service was poor and the server not very nice.
Awesome brunch! Atmosphere is the best part !
Lovely Girls’ Night or Catch up, great for Mother Daughter and all around fun place. Great date night too. It just works!
Beautiful restaurant. The decor is elegant and interesting. The food is mediocre. I have only been for lunch. Did not like the menu much. The servers were overwhelmed the day we were there. Understaffed for some reason. I expect more from The Post Oak Hotel. It is something to experience, but I would not go often.
Enjoyed the evening sitting outside dinning with friends. Great service and food!
Great food. Wonderful atmosphere and great service.
I’ve been to Bloom & Bee many times and unfortunately this was not a pleasant experience. The service was extremely slow and for a while, we were the only table in the main dining area. There was two tables outside so a total of three tables. Waitress was nice but so SLOW to attend to us through tour dinning experience. Our food was way over cooked. We ordered a filet medium and it came out well done. Zero pink or warm red center as it should have been. I also ordered the burger, which I’ve gotten many times and while I asked for no pink it came out like a hockey puck extremely well done. Very disappointing. Also to be prepared if you add avocado and bacon to your burger you’ll pay an additional $9.50 to an already $19 burger. I understand an extra charge but $9 seems a bit excessive. On a positive note, the camp fire dessert was delicious.
The food was excellent but the service was slow. We arrived at 9:30 but no one took our order for 20 minutes. We asked who was our server and they kept saying they’d let her know in the back. Finally, another server stepped up to help. He was very good. The avacodo toast is excellent.
Sad outside it was very pleasant overlooking the pool. The service was excellent the food was very good will definitely go back.
Perfect place for a girls lunch or brunch or special occasion. Amazing ambience.
The food was good. It was strange to be so close to pool. Our server was clearly not wanting to be there. She couldn’t remember our orders and didn’t really check on us.
The space is beautiful, food is delicious and the impeccable service!
One of the best lunch locations in Houston. The food is consistently good and presented nicely. The service is always impeccable. I will continue to visit them.
Beautiful place for a ladies birthday lunch! Wonderful service! And incredible food!
The food for brunch was very good and an extensive menu. Service was a little slow but the servers were doing their best to serve us. Pretty setting.
Had a brunch reservation at 10:45 am today to celebrate our girl’s graduation. Party of 4. We weren’t seated until 11:30 am...ridiculous! I have had brunch here 2 other times and have both times experienced slow service but never had to wait that long for the reservation. It is also very loud in the dining area. The food is good but not good enough to deal with all of the other negatives.
Amazing food and ambiance doesn’t make up for terrible service.
Gorgeous setting. Beautiful people. Colorful, extensive menu. Comfortable seating. Noise level increase ase the lunch time crowd increases. Sushi was ok but not as fresh as I've had other places. Salads ok. Mostly a big plate of lettuce or greens with few garnishes. Surprise dessert for my birthday friend which was a nice touch. Valet parking, but you must give $6.00 to have your car delivered (even with stamped ticket from the restaurant).
If you’re looking for a wonderful setting this is a great place, but don’t count on over the top service or fantastic food. Great atmosphere and ambience pretty much sums it up. The lunch menu leaves much to be desired - very bland. Desserts do make up for it.
Everything was just perfect for a lunch date with a dear friend. Can’t wait to come back.
Place was beautiful but food definitely not worth the price. Paid 175 for 2 people and steak was charred. Desserts were flat tasting. Just go and order appetizers.
Lovely lovely restaurant in a beautiful hotel setting. Another Landry's win-win. This is one of the prettiest restaurants in town, albeit tailor-made for the ladies, in particular, with it's pink hues and fresh roses and flowers everywhere. It had a very nice menu, with many selections I would have loved to try. Opted for the spiced butternut squash and roasted grape salad. Divine. My friend enjoyed her grilled mahi-mahi sandwich as well. It was a delicious lunch and I can't wait to return and try those other items.
Aaron is the best. He knows the menu from top to toe and no matter how busy he is, he always makes his best efforts to make sure if I need anything. The food is great as well. I would recommend going earlier if you'd like have quieter circumstances while you dine.
Bloom and Bee is such a beautiful place to dine. So enjoy spending time here.
This place is situated in the beautiful post oak hotel and is very pretty. Would be a great brunch spot for mothers day or with girlfriends. Service was mediocre....we were not given bread in the beginning and it was brought to us after our appetizers came. The brussel sprouts were not crispy as mentioned and too salty. We liked the fish & flatbread. Dessert was fine too. Plating is really good at this restaurant.
Arrived at the hostess stand & gave our reservation name. Host said he would be right back. Waited for 10 minutes - the restaurant was almost empty. Had to ask a passing server if we could be seated. Host never came back or apologized for the delay. After being seated, waited 15 minutes for a waiter. Finally, after asking someone who walked by our table if someone could help us, we got a waiter to bring menus & water.
The food was good & the restaurant is beautiful.
This lunch was a celebration of a dear friend’s birthday. It’s a shame that the apathetic attitude of the waitstaff left us feeling less than celebratory.
On a positive note, kudos to the bellmen who parked our cars. They are very friendly & give the hotel a great initial impression for your guests.
We got there at 3:30 for our reservation. They took about 15-20 minutes to come give us water and take our drink order. And then out waiter Never came back. We waited about 30 minutes to see if he would and then finally a friend of mine got fed up and asked. Once he asked where our waiter was because our drinks were low and we were starving we were told he had stepped out.. and no one bothered to come tell us or serve us?? The food was mediocre(my friend thought her eggs Benedict were good) (my other friend thought his burger was okay) my cold salmon and was okay. The drinks were good. But there service will prevent us from coming back. we ended up leaving around 5:30 after finishing our meal that came after another 30 minutes. The waitress we ended up with was sweet and made us feel a little better.
Still very disappointed. It was my friends birthday.
This is a lovely restaurant in the Post Oak Hotel and it's perfect for all those girly occasions like an engagement party, baby shower, or a girls weekend. Like most restaurants in hotels it's terribly over-priced for what you get so just be prepared to suck that up. One cocktail, iced tea, two brunch entree's and desert...$100.
The food was good and the place was beautiful but because our service was terrible I do not plan on returning.
Service was terrible. Untrained staff. Food was good. Cocktails were good as well.
