Perfectly nice lunch though the open fire grilled dishes better than the pastas. Atmosphere was lovely in the front room but we were in the back which is a bit duller.

Blades is a brilliant restaurant, reliable every time for great food, and friendly, efficient service ftom great staff. The atmosphere manages to be vibrant and intimate at the same time, and the dining space is charming, with effectively separate rooms front and back, and ample al freso seating in warm weather. We are repeat visitors and big fans. Highly recommend.

Excellent food, friendly and timely service, nice atmosphere. Our party of 4 had 3 course meals with a bottle of red abd white, all different dishes including meat, seafood and veggie; and everyone was very happy

The best calves liver I have ever had . Delicious food all round . The place was buzzing and busy , full of young and old alike. The decor is quirky and stylish but not so smart that you can’t relax. we will definitely be booking again.
