We tried this restaurant because it was local and had great reviews. We enjoyed every bit of the experience and the food was amazing! Steaks were cooked perfectly to order - a serious bonus in my book! They also had a Tomahawk steak on special... OMG! Not only did I get to enjoy every bite, but my three dogs did as well! They even got to gnaw on that delicious bone for a few hours. I know I won't need a special occasion to make my way back to feast!
We have been eating at Black Hat Cattle for years. We had the best meal that we have ever eaten there or anywhere else in Evergreen on Friday Night. We had the mixed fish combo on the Early Dining 3 course Menu. There are also beef options.

We really enjoyed our early dining experience at the Black Hat Cattle Company with our friends. Going before 6pm gives the diner the option of a 3 course menu for $32 (obviously price can vary, so check before you book). The Onion Rings were the best I have had, the dressing on the salad was delicious. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and the dessert was lovely too. Overall fabulous experience with excellent service and we will be going again.
Everything about this place is amazing. Feels like you’re dining in the old west yet somehow you are home.
A mountain steakhouse with delicious steaks and a good wine list. The creamed spinach had a bit too much cream and not enough spinach, but the onion rings were very good. Both the bone-in and regular ribeyes were very good.
The food is never a disappointment. This is a pricey place, but we cannot do without the shrimp cocktail with spicy sauce, or the Caesar salad (best I've ever found), or the quality cuts of beef. We always think of Black Hat first for any special occasion. Only thing we can even hope for improvement in is the side vegetables. Great dinner--always returning.
I am av vegetarian and they made me a great pasta dish. My partner had a great steak. The Black Hat is a fantastic place.

Best steak around! Dry aged Kansas City Strip was amazing and you have to get the creamed corn!
We all had deilicious frest steaks and wonderful vegetable medley. Aislynn was our server and totally awesome!
Visited Black Hat with a friend. We had the dry aged bone-in Cowboy ribeye, it was delicious. Our server explained the process to us and said that Black Hat has been dry aging their steaks in-house for over a year. The dry aged steaks are a little more money, but so worth the price.
We enjoyed the old country music, and the Bev Doolittle prints that are all around the restaurant. Highly recommend you visit this restaurant.

Ordered my steak well done and said I didn't want ANY red at all, and it came to me fairly rare. Had to send it back for more cooking. Very small portions for the high price. In my opinion it was very pricey for what you get.
