Black Cat Farm Dinners...at the Farm!
Upon arrival at the farm, you'll be greeted with hors d’oeuvres an aperitif on the patio & gardens of our historic farmstead. Or enjoy an optional hay wagon ride as you take in the breathtaking views of the farm.
Next, your host-chef-farmer will lead a tour of the restored, historic farm buildings, grain mill, and organic farm. Then, we meet back up at the farm dinner space for four courses, each paired with Colorado's award-winning Bookcliff Vineyards wines. The menu of the night is created from the day's harvest. Tomatoes still warm from the sun, tender-crisp lettuces, and heritage pork or lamb roasted over plum wood embers are some of the flavors that await. Following the meal, guests are free to take in the breathtaking mountain views while they enjoy dessert inside the historic barn, on the patio, or in front of a bonfire.

I really enjoyed hearing all about the farm from Eric. The food was amazing! I would have liked to have know that there 2 courses as I ate too much lamb and had little room for the yummy pork. I did not like the wine selection. I do not drink red wine and I am not fond of Bookcliff wines. It would have been nice to have a broader selection of wines.

This was our first "Farm Dinner" and will do again. The farm setting with being outside and a marvelous sunset was wonderful. Chef Eric and staff are passionate about the dishes served. My favorite course was was the Tunis Lamb Merguez; beautiful presentation and outstanding flavor. Delightful Colorado Bookcliff Wines accompanied each course. A very special evening on a real working farm..
