BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse - Boulder - 29th St
Our server was excellent and the food was amazing
Great food, beer and amazing staff wii definitely be back
Excellent food and excellent service. We will be visiting again and recommend eating here to others.
Our server, Kay, was amazing. Great service and very entertaining.
First of all, James was an awesome server and very attentive. Food was great, but the tuna was a little too fishy
tasting . Overall, we enjoyed the experience .
BJ’s always has great Fast service, good beer and amazing food. I have NEVER been disappointed!
Great food, great service!
the wine list is upper-end and the side dishes are really good too. We usually get the side dishes consisting of salads, meatballs, mash potatoes and asparagus.
Considering the adjustments we have to make now due to the pandemic, the entire staff did an excellent job !
Lots of distance between tables, very safe protocol, all touchless.
Took friends from out of town to lunch. A restaurant with a designated parking lot is a plus. Menu has a good variety to choose from.
Food was great
Great menu many gluten free options,
The drink menu was terrific. We would definitely go again
We love going to BJ the atmosphere is nice and the services is amazing
large, wonderful menu. something for everybody. very accommodating. they are doing everything right with the social distancing and sanitizing and it was very clean and neat. staff is very friendly and professional. the important thing, food is delicious!
The attention to COVID 19 rules was exceptional. We felt completely safe. The servers were amazing, attentive and friendly but distanced as required. We would go again in a heartbeat.
It was nice to get together with some friends.
Good cold beer, and great fries!
Good as ever. The restaurant is very large and the social distancing was very comfortable. I always love this place and really miss it and Ella and Aaron.
Love BJs, but the music was a bit loud, especially for those who are deaf...makes it difficult to hear conversation.
BJ's brews are the best and the food always pleases. The staff was attentive and practiced good safety measures. Patrons were properly spaced in the dining area.
Basic bar / beer food stuff but good quality and reasonably priced. Some more interesting fare like Avocado Spring Rolls.
Great selection of beer. Service was reasonable considering the pandemic.
Still think they need to sort out their reservation scheme. Walk ins are accepted but aren't recommended - wait times are long (Someone has to cancel) If not you get the last online reservation that could be many hour wait times.
It had good food and service by Sarah. We sat outside and it was a little noisy and hot and sunny.
The service was great and the food was great as always!!
They are seating everyone more than 6 ft apart. Servers have masks and gloves. They give you a QR code to pull the menu up on your phone... so no touching menus. Contactless payment with a credit card.
I felt very safe... and really enjoyed the opportunity to eat out again.
Menu was limited due to covid. Food was good. Food took awhile to reach us
I know you’re just getting reopened but it wasn’t great. Had to ask for everything. We were forgotten sitting outside. Food was good so no complaints about that. But we even had to wait and knock on the door to pay.
It was great, thank you for complying to social distancing guidelines.
Chipotle glazed salmon is excellent! The baby spinach accompaniment was overcooked and slightly tough. But still edible. Took awhile to get a water refill.
I decided to try something different.
I usually get a burger.... They are always terrific!
This time I decided to try something different.
The lunch offers were reasonable but, the New England Clam Chowder was a bit too thick and cold.
The pizza was like a puff pastry with very little cheese.
Yes, for an All-American meal. I prefer smaller restaurants~~~and I abhor TVS. So this is not my first choice.
I have to be honest that I don't expect much from chain restaurants. I have been to BJ's a number of times and found their food adequate and portion sizes significant. This most recent trip, however, it was not anything like what it had been in the past. The portion sizes are significantly smaller but prices the same and the quality of the food definitely a notch down.
My Cobb salad was very wilted obviously made well in advance of ordering
BJ’s was not busy the evening of our reservation, so it was quiet with plenty of seating. Staff was very friendly and attentive, food was good and portions were large. Will definitely be dining here again.
We were so delighted with our overall experience that we went there both nights we were in town. We made reservations through OpenTable and that was a real help. It was football weekend with a large crowd in town. When we arrived they were telling people a 90-minute wait. When we told them that we had reservations through OpenTable, we were immediately seated at our appointed time and they even met our request for a booth in a more quiet part of the restaurant. The beer, food and service were outstanding both nights. We were totally impressed with the staff. My wife and I enjoyed the full rack of ribs so much, we ordered both nights. All four of us do a lot of traveling and we thought this might be the best claim chowder ever. We have a BJ's in our town and we like it, but this one overall is superior in all areas. If we lived here, we would frequent this location. AND USE OpenTable!
Best wedge salad I’ve ever had. The beer sampler was terrific. Emily was very professional and helpful as well as pleasant. She was simply super. Your prices were very reasonable. My wife and I ate a fabulous meal, had great cocktails and watched the Oregon game. It was a great time and we aren’t easily impressed as so many establishments disappoint.
We travel from our home that is very close to the Westminster B.J.'s to go to the Boulder store because there is great customer service at this location.
This is our go-to place for relaxing casual food with a great and pleasant wait staff. Just needed something quiet and cozy and at that hour it certainly was. The food is quite good for the price point and we really enjoyed our evening
We love bj’s, the atmosphere is great, the beer selection is great. Made my reservation online and it gives you the option to put in comments. First time making reservations online, very easy and friendly. Decided to put in the special requests that my res was for two adults and a toddler. Would prefer a booth! Got there and they sat us right away. Out in the middle at a four top. Plenty of booths. I didn’t realize that on the reservation ticket they printed it said prefers a booth. The hostess that sat us either can’t read and or she just blatantly disregarded the comment. There were plenty of booths available. Waitress came for drinks, picked up the ticket and looked at it read it and then crumpled it and threw it away so not once but twice it was disregarded. I understand some requests are just down right almost impossible to do, but this seemed ridiculous due to the fact they read it twice and there were plenty of booths available for my family. Don’t know if I’ll be going back honestly for a long while now. Would recommend this restaurant to people for the food and the atmosphere and beer selection. The service on the other hand was probably the worst.
Overall BJs was fine for me and my four friends. The wait staff was painfully slow...
