Turns out they are not going to offer this anymore. The food and drinks were good, but they weren't paired to play off each other, which was disappointing.
You are seated with a small group with your own bartender who is tailoring your food/drink experience. Pretty special.
The three plates equate to more than enough food for us for dinner. We were fed delicious beef w/ mushrooms, tender octopus, lovely seared ahi, kanpachi crudo, and delicious cocktails.
The cilantro based cocktail served with the octopus was very memorable.
Very highly recommend trying it out.
We were underwhelmed by the Bitters and Bites experience. Food portions were small and not memorable, cocktails were good but didn't pair with food as described. Service was decent but not what we would expect for price. Not a bad experience but overall we didn't feel it was a good value.
What a great way to kickoff our stay. Archer was fantastic- great to see him work, he took our tastes to craft the cocktails to us, each one was amazing.
I don’t know how to spell his name, but Si was fantastic. He paid attention to every little detail and made some unbelievable cocktails. Would highly recommend this to anyone staying at Andaz. Worth every penny.
This is the best way to experience Ka”Ana Kitchen. Fantastic sampling of the different items they offer. Archer mixes fantastic drinks to match each plate. This offering is not well advertised but wow a must do.

We attended a cocktail pairing called Bitters and Bites. We are cocktail connoisseurs and these are by far in our top 3 best ever! Artistically, they were the most beautiful creations and the flavors worked incredibly well with the equally well-prepared food. This will be remembered as our favorite night on Maui... thank you to Archer, Joe and the chefs for making it special!
Food and cocktails were both fantastic. Paired beautifully. Archer was a great host/ mixologist so friendly and incredibly talented at what he does. Best octopus I've ever had.
