    Justine was a great server and we had a great dinner! My only complaint was that the interval between our first and second courses was lengthy -- probably :30. But the manager approached us and offered a free glass of wine (which we declined) to make up for the delay, so they did acknowledge and try to ameliorate it. Always loved the Larimer location and the move to Kearney looks to have been a fine choice. We'll be back!

    What a pleasant surprise to see Brian Smith and to know he is the General Manager at Bistro Vendome! We were very pleased with everything tonight. Courtney took excellent care of us and the food, wine and drinks were incredible. The crème brule reminded us of Strings (Miss Noel and Tammy) !

    This was our second visit to the Bistro. The menu had changed in less than a few weeks. We had sausage and white beans on our first visit. It was really quite special with an assortment of incredible flavors!! Our second visit was three weeks later. We shared a large sea bass which was perfectly cooked. Again the flavor were incredible. We plan to go to the bistro regularly.. a 5 star experience!!!

    Very nice; food and wine very good. There was some hubbub with another customer when we arrived, but our wait staff (in particular one woman) was excellent -friendly and helpful. And the food was very good.

    Birthday dinner. Seating was OK. Room we wanted closed after private party. White table cloths would have been wonderful. Didn't care for utensils put on table face? Lobster bosque warm not hot. Needed seasoning. Seafood stew had same broth as bisque except for chopped white fish, chopped shrimp & a few mussels in the shell. There was several inedible vegetable pieces included which was an embarrassment to leave on the plate. It too was warm and needed something in the way of seasoning. Pork loin was very good. Vegetables with it too al dente. Pomme frites were very good. Birthday dessert arrived san a candle but all in all a good meal. French? Not so much!

    We used to go when the restaurant was in Larimer Square and thought we would give the new location a try for brunch. IT IS EVEN BETTER THAN BEFORE!

    Cozy small high end restaurant with very good French food. The French entrées are foods that you will not find in the typical American restaurant. It will not appeal to Americans who are not adventurous with their food or who might be on a budget as it was quite expensive, $360 for four people. But if you are craving really good French food and you want to go out for a special occasion, I would highly recommend this restaurant. The ambiance and noise level were perfect, so it was easy to relax and have a nice evening with our friends.

    We loved everything about the experience except the Duck a l'Orange. We weren't expecting such a fatty, undercooked entree. It may have been a perfect, classic version of the dish. We aren't criticizing the execution so much as it was not to our taste.

    I've been to Bistro Vendome at their old location and at the new one in Park Hill. The new one did not disappoint! Excellent wine list, great food, attentive service and a jovial atmosphere. I'll definitely be back.

    This was my third time to BV. The first two so wonderful I couldn’t wait to bring my east coast guest for a third visit. This time the food was not so spectacular. The lamb appetizer was overcooked and my seafood stew didn’t contain much seafood beyond the mussels. I had raised my guests expectations so high we were a bit disappointed.

    Our server was pleasant and knowledgeable. The kitchen was off their game. Our dinner was delayed and at the last minute, one of our party had to change his entree because the kitchen ran out. The entrees were not served at the same time. Also, an annoying timer kept going off in the kitchen every few minutes.

    Nice new location, service was excellent! Food a little disappointing. Had hangar steak and frites with au poivre sauce. Steak was supposed to be med-med well, and it was rare and somewhat tough, sauce had little flavor, frites were good except they were laced with a sweet glaze, not my favorite. French bread was only so so (should have been fabulous for a French restaurant). The onion tart very tasty.

    Sat at the bar with a friend and got amazing service from the staff. Nice pours on the delicious wine too! We shared the chicory salad, an order of pommes frites, the onion tarte and moules. Everything cooked perfectly and yummy. The seasoning on the fries is amazing! Neighborhood gem for sure. Heading back for a birthday celebration next week.

    Been dining in Denver for years, never saw a restaurant charge more if you pay with a credit card nor have I seen the cryptic DMW charge hidden at the bottom of the bill until recently. Our waiter tried to explain this charge as a way of keeping prices lower. Apparently it never occurred to her that we were paying more with that charge included. I very much resent these strategies because a) they're sneaky and b) they suggest that while ownership realizes they need to pay more to get good reliable help, they want the customer to pay for it rather than take less profit. What's more they don't tell you what it is unless you ask. While I understand they're not wanting to raise prices as it likely will reduce the value their customer perceive, what this really means is that they don't believe the market will see value in a higher prices or they don't believe their product is something people will be willing to pay more for. This is not the case in all the higher end restaurants, they charge what the market will bare and people gladly pay it. As we finished our meal the table near us was questioning their waiter on what the DMW charge was for. They didn't seam any less annoyed by these charges than we were. In the long run I think many folks will view this as a deceptive business practice and like us, never return. Maybe, in these times of high inflation, folks will go somewhere else.

    Wonderful Mother's Day brunch! Our first time to the new location. Beautiful restaurant, great food, and outstanding service from Kyle. We'll miss the patio, but now the parking is great! We'll be back.

    I had never been here and was really hoping to like it better. Our server and the ambiance were great. Unfortunately, the cocktails and food were mostly meh. We started with the duck liver mousse which was good but not fantastic. My husband and I both had the bourride which had very little flavor and overcooked seafood. My son had the pork tenderloin. The tenderloin was good but not great but the side of fava beans and broccolini was delicious. I wish everything had lived up to the side!
