Good food. Nice friendly service. Convenient location to convention center on a cute street. I looked around for a place near the Hyatt and Bistro Vendome did not disappoint. Definitely e joyed the experience
Service was excellent. The duck confit was disappointing. Dry and tasteless, and then covered with accoutrements that didn’t enhance at all. My companion had the short rib entree but wasn’t excited about it.
We have been having pre-concert brunch at Vendome for many many years. It hasn’t missed a beat. Delicious and well presented light plates.
Never disappoints! always a pleasure and cozy in the winter.
I am picky about my French food and this place did not disappoint! Fabulous from amuse buche to dessert, and the service matched the quality of the food to boot!
I have eaten here many times & it is one of my favorite places. This is why I was so disappointed in the service this time. Our waiter was clearly not into waiting on us Saturday night. We had to keep tracking him down. He didn’t know much about either the food menu nor what the bar carried in terms of fine liquor. The food was good, as always, but the derby was disappointing.
Intimate part of Larimer Square, beautiful area tucked away. Bistro/Diner combo feeling with incredible food & wine selection. We had a great time, will definitely be back.
We came to celebrate my husband’s birthday and his new job! It was a wonderful time spent together. The food and drinks were incredible and we loved our waiter. He was attentive but not overly so, allowing us time to spend together and eat and enjoy our food without constant interruptions.
That’s it I don’t want to say more
Was very disappointed that the $45 special New Years menu “poached lobster tails” turned out to be a single tiny lobster tail with two bites of lobster meat at the most.
For reasons unknown go me, I have been receiving messages berating me for missing my reservation. I watched the host check us off his computer as scheduled. We had a fine meal and shall return.
Our 12th New Year’s dinner, and we had a great time. Did notice that the fries and mayo were a little different, and we preferred the old recipe. Excellent service. We’ll continue our tradition!
OpenTable is our go to restaurant for an early meal each New Year's Eve. You have to arrive early for a seat at the bar while waiting til it opend st 4:30. There service this year was especially exquisite. I aways feel like I a back in Paris. Bistro is just the right size. We are partial to the onion soup but the steak and frites is not bad either. Since our goal was to stay awake during our 6:30-8:30 concert, we were delighted that they sold us a half glass of red. Make my reservations for NY Eve 2020.
Beautiful restaurant, lovely ambience. It was our fourth time there. Hard to find anything on the menu with vegetables and no starchy Carbs though. Everything was either frites (French fries), breaded and fried (frog legs), crepes or dumplings. They need a plate with meat and veggies.
We love Bistro Vendome! Every meal, every time. We enjoyed the special Croque Monsieur and frites. Bon appetite!
Always an amazing brunch. Kicked up quiche and winter spice beignets made our morning. Lovely.
Great night, we were not rushed, food was excellently prepared French Bistro fare.
Our anniversary, we were treated to a lovely glass of champagne to start. Lovely evening as always.
As always, we were seated promptly and every bite of dinner was delicious. Thanks for another very nice evening. We had classic mussels, classic steak, frites, drinks and some very nice wine. Everything was cooked to perfection. (steak was truly medium rare)
I have been coming here for years and have usually enjoyed the food, service, decor. This time despite being a very special occasion (which Vendome was informed of), the food was incredibly mediocre, cold, and the service might be the worst I’ve experienced in a very long time. Zero praise for the food, no niceties, not attentive, and a terrible representation of the restaurant. After 10+ years of coming this time was so bad I won’t be returning.. very unfortunate to lose this place that was once special.
We had a great Christmas Eve dinner. They had the normal dinner menu and a special menu for Christmas Eve. We decided to go for the normal menu and order the onion soup and the Roquefort Steak and it was delicious. We would come back again.
Love everything about Bistro Vendome. The service is impeccable and the food extraordinary. They make sure that any allergies you have are noted with gluten free options. The atmosphere is charming and romantic.
Tucked into a garden alcove off of Larimer Street, this gem of a restaurant delighted us in every way. The wait staff was engaging and helpful- making us feel well cared for. The food was exceptional - from the baby kale salad with roasted butternut squash to the unbelievable roasted kingfish and steak frites, DO NOT MISS the blueberry tart- it is heavenly. Will go back every time we are in Denver
I love Bistro Vendome! Our group had a wonderful evening. Everyone raved about their meals. All of the food is very good, but the fries are so good that I crave them as soon as I leave
this was the first time i have ever cried over how good food was. We were speechless and it was all we could do to remain composed throughout dinner!
Some of the food was excellent, some was so-so. Ambience was lovely. Service was pretty good, although our server did not mention it was our 20-year anniversary dinner, which I submitted with my reservation. Overall experience was not worth the $200 bill and we will not likely go back.
Excellent French bistro in Denver. Waiter was superb. Food very good. Wine list quite diverse. Will visit again.
Another great evening at Bistro Vendome!
Great as always.
We've eaten at Vendome several times and we are always pleased. As usual, our servers were right on top of things, knew the menus (wine, dinner, dessert) well, and took excellent care of us.
One of our favorites, we go back time after time after time!
Charming bistro. Excellent mussels. Steaks came out cool, but were corrected to med. rare. Good desserts. Homemade ice cream delicious. Wines are overpriced. Service was excellent.
Service was adequate but somewhat slow. $6.50 for a croissant should have delivered the best croissant I’ve ever tasted. It didn’t.
There was a small bobble on the food but the server made it right. Nice place for lunch before an afternoon concert at the DCPA. The glasses of wine seem a bit high but it's the way Denver's going. I was treated nicely as a solo diner.
Great food and great service. We will definitely be back
Great as always!
Food was excellent
Great place to catch with a friend for brunch and maybe a little shopping right outside!
Always incredible food and service...Took 30 minutes for coffee to brew however!
