Bistro Vendome is one of the few level-up dining venues in the neighborhood and they put effort into being a neighborhood staple. I understand that restaurants are suffering with base costs and that they work very hard to present a quality experience for the diners and I appreciate that! However, this obsession of American restaurants for playing loud, club-like music is annoying and not conducive to what should be the pleasure of enjoying a fine meal and the company/conversation of dining companions. We were told the restaurant could not control the volume of the music.

We had happy hour martinis (delicious) and to nibble on with our drinks we shared the smoked halibut salad with house made potato chips and two French deviled eggs, which were absolutely superb. We then had mussels and a side of pomme frites (the best in Denver). We had wine pairings as well. Such delicious food. All of it! We sat outside and received the best of service start to finish. I love Bistro Vendome.

We dined on the patio for brunch which was super cute! Overall a great value for the ambience and food, service was a bit lackluster. We were forgotten about for awhile and drinks either never got put in or took an extremely long time multiple times.

Went for a birthday dinner, and though the service was outstanding, and the appetizers were very good, the entrees were a disappointment. The lamb chop was tiny and overcooked, and it's side was reminiscent of shredded cardboard in texture and dryness. My wife's birthday dinner of fish came out smelling of 3 day old dead fish that was rotting in the sun for those 3 days. All this for the low price of $200. We then left and went to Ocean Prime restaurant so that she and I could have good food and a desert. Just a really expensive and disappointing lesson.

We had a wonderful dinner to celebrate our anniversary! We were greeted with a complimentary toast of bubbly, a special treat! Our server was knowledgeable and had great personality. Thanks for making our night special!

My son and I celebrated his father’s birthday last Saturday, May 31, at Bistro Vendome. The three of us enjoyed our evening which included warm exchanges with the family at the next table. The first-time grandmother shared that her granddaughter was four months old that day! As the family was leaving, the grandmother wished us a good evening and hoped we had a great birthday celebration. We thanked her and wished her a wonderful weekend. Minutes later our server told us that our “neighbors” had picked up our tab!! He said that they didn’t want us to know. Astounded, we were speechless, grateful, touched by the incredible generosity of heart and spirit of the family of the 4-month-old!! We will pass forward their kindness, grace, and joyful gifting to keep this cycle going. We are inspired! Thank you, “neighbors”!!!

Fabulous experience at Bistro Vendome. Small serving sizes but that’s to be expected. Every dish was excellent both in quality and presentation. We came for a birthday and they started us off with a complimentary round of coupes of champagne, they even had a birthday card signed by the whole staff. An excellent curated wine menu and impressive authentic ambiance.

This was our first visit to Bistro Vendome's Park Hill location. While we loved their location in Larimer Square, this restaurant seems lighter and on street parking was a breeze. We were celebrating our 48th anniversary, and the whole celebration was brilliant! We took advantage of Happy Hour drinks and hors d'oeuvres, following up with main courses of Cassoulet and gnocchi -- both were outstanding! The crunchy wafer on their tiramisu was a surprising delight. We had a wonderful time people watching from our window seats and plan to return often.
