A warm, characterful bistro in Shoreditch with rich burgundy interiors, an open kitchen, and space for up to 45 seated guests or 80 standing. Bistro Freddie blends nostalgic charm with a contemporary edge, perfect for intimate dinners, vibrant gatherings, or stylish private hires.

Showcasing British seasonal produce through a French lens, the menu features hearty bistro classics and a thoughtfully curated French wine list. From long lunches to celebratory evenings, Bistro Freddie brings relaxed refinement to one of East London’s liveliest corners.

Curated by Alex Price, Bistro Freddie’s all-French wine list focusses on real wines that reflect a sense of place. The wine list takes a deep dive into all corners of France, exploring a variety of styles, regions and producers.

    The crushed potatoes were in fact not crushed they were sludge. Steak was average. All over priced for quality.

    We went to Bistro Freddie for my birthday - every dish we tried was exceptional, drinks were unique, and service was attentive and fast. They added a candle to my dessert which I didn't expect. We'll definitely be back!
