Southern
Bistro Byronz was born from the simple definition of a true bistro: an unpretentious neighborhood restaurant where friends and families gather day and night to relax, share conversation and enjoy good food and drink at reasonable prices. From that day on, we have prided ourselves in serving deliciously simple, bistro-inspired dishes done the Southern way — comfortable yet special, casual yet elegant, and a bit curious and undefined.

A Southern version of the quaint cafes in Paris, with the sophistication and casual flare of New York City bistros, incorporating the flavors, culture and lagniappe of Louisiana was to us the perfect and distinct approach.

The manager was very accommodating when we needed to increase our party size, especially considering it was a busy night.

It was a busy night for the area, however the restaurant did not seem terribly busy at the time we were seated - 5:30pm. The new building is beautiful and the outside seating area was lovely. The noise level inside made our conversations hard to hear over the table, even with just four people.

The service was very slow and our food was served cold. I ordered a roast beef sandwich and all I could taste was the horseradish. I love horseradish but the amount just overpowered everything else. Sweet potato fries were good, but were also cold so could have been better.

We will give this restaurant another try when it’s not an event night but this visit was very lack luster and disappointing.

Can be a nice place to go. When busy, parking is tough. Food aims to be a step above average, but doesn't always make it. For example, gumbo was fine but rice had those irritating hard uncooked bits. One item didn't arrive until everyone else was finished.

The French onion soup is the worst ever! A very small cup and 2/3 of it was croutons. There were maybe 3 bites of onion soup. Instead of melted grated Gruyere/Swiss cheese on top there was a slice of something that was not even melted all the way so that you could easily see that it was a slice.

I also had the French Dip sandwich. I didn't see much beef so I opened it and everyone at the table started laughing. Inside were 2 very thin slices of beef, each about 1.5" long and less that 1" wide. When our waitress saw it she immediately took it back to the kitchen!

We were 6 people at our table and all agreed that the food was almost to salty to eat. We also agreed that we would not eat there again.

The only reason I gave it any stars at all is because the new building is very nice and our waitress was the best part of the evening!

We love Byronz. We will probably switch to Willow Grove because we all love the original Chicken paillard dish with the squash zucchini and red onions sautéed and potatoes as a side. So so good. The new restaurant is very pretty though.

The paillard will be the same at Willow Grove. But you are welcome to order it with substitutions of vegetables for the salad. And we can always get a side of potatoes as well. Hope to see you again soon.

My dining companion’s dinner was quite good but I was disappointed in mine. Had to get other staff to bring items we had ordered after waiting for our waitress to bring them. Other than that, the staff was great. Liked the ambiance very much but just like their previous location it’s quite noisy.

Food was fantastic and just as good as the old location. Service was also good, especially considering they just opened this location about a week ago. The closest thing I have to a complaint is that I find the choice to install TVs all around the dining area a little strange.

This restaurant was closed, evidently permanently. We reserved online and showed up and to our dismay, it was empty.

When we arrived at the restaurant for our reservation, the restaurant was closed. It is unfortunate that they restaurant was listed with open reservations on OpenTable. Very disappointed!

Everything was great, except for the service. Our server, Adam, was pretty disrespectful. Told us to “hold on” when we attempted to order drinks and threw the plates on the table. Food was great though.

Went in for dinner Saturday night. Our table was one of two in the restaurant. The service was average. The French fries were hard, my salad was missing eggs which was one of the three ingredients in the dish wish no notification and chicken stew was cold.

Brunch menu limited due to COVID and it was not what we expected when we chose this location for brunch. This place is generally really good, I was the only party at our table who ordered off of brunch menu and the only disappointed diner.

in this age of pandemic, I especially appreciate the need to make a reservation, the clean down after a table clears & the mask wearing, distancing of the staff while still being of great service...brought a friend from Lake Charles in residence her in BR & she alos loved it, took a menu back to the hotel for future Waitr deliveries

My chair at the high top we were seated at was broken... waiter had to bring a new one. Got the rosemary spritz, it was just ok especially considering it was $12. They undercooked my steak. That’s the second time that’s happened there... I love this place but in the past year I’ve really noticed it isn’t as good as it once was.

Been here several times before... always think the value for the quality is excellent. Server did a fantastic job. Think where we sat was a bit noisier than previously experienced. My wife had a dish that fell short of expectation. My salmon was cooked beyond the requested temperature. So, overall it wasn't our best Byronz experience. But it'd certainly not keep us from returning or recommending.

Sunday brunch was fantastic. Staff was friendly and attentive to every detail. They assisted with selections and special requests from the various menus. The food was creative well presented and most of all delicious. Service was seamless and unobtrusive allowing us to take our time and enjoy the food, the experience as well as each other.

Everything was so -so. Drinks and food were average, service friendly but rushed to give us the check. Understand that it’s Tuesday but the day after LSU won the college football National Champions, the place was mostly empty.
