Carnaroli Risotto of the Day

Wonderful atmosphere, great food selection, super staff, what more could you as for. Truly a fun evening.
My friend had to return her gazpacho which had crab shells. It's usually far better than yesterday.
Awesome Birthday Celebration. The Food and atmosphere was perfect for our group.
The light and decorations are great and the menu is uniformly excellent . We experienced some delays on a busy night due to a slammed bar but really a fun buzzy place with everyone dressed to the nines for a night on the town in the village !
Fabulous service every time
It was a beautiful night and we sat outside. Ivan was our server and he was amazing. The food was fantastic, the service superb and I can say nothing bad about this place. We even got free desserts just by being friendly. Thank you Ivan
Great food and service.
Best restaurant in Dallas. Great food and the Service is outstanding.
Always great service and food
Service not the usual. And too loud
Another fabulous lunch at Bistro 31. We started our lunch with an appetizer - beet cured salmon, served on potato latkes with a dollop of sour cream topped with caviar. Yum! My husband had wild mushrooms over tagliatelle in a truffle cream sauce. I think he has had it the last 3 times we have been there for lunch. He says he’s not stuck in a rut, the pasta is simply too good to order anything else. I ordered the new burrata salad. I added shrimp to make my main course. Delicious!!!
Overall experience was fine, but I was very disappointed to see that the chicken paillard was taken off the menu. That is a beloved dish by many!! Please bring it back!
We go here a couple of times a month, but the service today was exceptionally bad at lunch. We had a 1pm reservation and I believe we were at table 72. The server just didn't seem like he wanted us there from the start. Very short, very unwelcoming. Everyone at our table noticed that this guy is pretty rude and short. Took forever to take our drink orders, then finally I had to tell him that we're ready to order our lunch. He took the order and disappeared. We waited what seemed like for ever to find him to ask for our check. I had to grab a lady whom i believe to be the manager to ask for our check. She said sure and nothing happened after 5 minutes. Finally the guy shows back up to another table, I waive him down and ask for the check and got the heck out of there. Everything with service was way off today, and it wasn't anymore busy than usual. The service is usually pretty good, just a bad experience with a bad server this time around. Won't go back for a while, or not at all, it was that bad of a service.
This restaurant has not been the same since reopening. Many of the professional, experienced servers are gone. Current servers are adequate but not exceptional. Things seem disorganized.
We have been to Bistro 31 several times and it is always a great experience. Food, service and ambiance outstanding and it is our go to restaurant in Dallas. Highly recommended.
The food was amazing! Great service from Tatiana our server.
I would highly recommend the Risotto with Truffles and Tagliolini with mushrooms and pancetta.
Definitely going back!
I have been wanting to try this place for a long time and we were very underwhelmed.
Great food and fantastic service from Jorge! Highly recommended.
great time at Bistro 31! Waiter was attentive and very hospitable. Michael, the GM was a great host and made sure my friend and I were enjoying ourselves. Tuna Tartare and warm brie apps were scrumptious! Best Cosmopolitan Bianco drink ever!!! coming back for more...
The food, service, and ambience were all fantastic. The services provided by the professional management and staff are the main reasons that we keep coming back. The old world elegance is a rare thing, and we value their focus to make sure that everything about the dining experience is excellent. Michael is a fantastic General Manager and causes all things to run smoothly in his restaurant. I highly recomend this restaurant.
Good food but patio was hot. Service was great.
Great lunch with friends! And the cocktails were amazing!
love to people-watch! lovely Rose wine to start; window table always preferred; lobster salad a favorite! can't wait to go back! better to reserve ahead!
Loved our server! He made us feel special & made our lunch very enjoyable. The food was delicious!
Michael runs a great operation. All of the employees we're generally happy to be there, we also had the opportunity to meet chef David (terrific guy), and be served by Alexander who was extremely professional.
We will make this place a regular occasion.
Food was very basic and nothing that made me say wow. The $17 mimosa cocktail was overpriced. Excellent service but the price doesn't match the food quality. My omelette barely had any chorizo in it and the onions weren't cooked.
Love Bistro 31. Could eat there every day.
Too noisy but food was good and drinks were as well. Fun place.
I felt our server really tried to drive the bill up. He made great suggestions, but was pushing the beverages strongly. We also ordered to fish that were listed as market price and they ended up 90 per person and he did not mention the price. All other entrees are in the $40/range so we were surprised with the bill. We assumed they’d be a similar price point.
First up, the food was outstanding! And it was beautifully presented, albeit the portions were on the small side I thought. The restaurant visually is extremely pleasant. You know you’re in a classy place when you enter. BUT, I have to address the noise level. With the crowds this restaurant brings in, it was very difficult to hear our table conversation. This put a damper on a very enjoyable Wednesday evening with friends.
Exceptional food and service. My favorite lunch/brunch place in Dallas by far!
The vibe is nice, lots of good people watching but the food was just fine. Nothing bad but nothing to write home about. The frites were soggy on arrival, still warm etc so not really anything to complain about. The pasta dish lacked seasoning. The desserts and cocktails were excellent and our server was great. So overall a pleasant Sunday brunch but would not put in the must return category. I had higher hopes which probably resulted in me feeling more disappointed than had I managed my expectations
The staff and service at Bistro 31 was amazing! They are very attentive and friendly, making it a great experience for everyone in my party. As for the menu, the cocktails were great and strong, which we loved for our booze brunch. Unfortunately, I felt that the food was just average and nothing exciting that I would go back for.
Our server, Blair, made our lunch experience even better! She was so nice, fun & had great recommendations for menu... even gave us an "off menu" cocktail to try based on our previous order. She was fantastic! Everything we ordered was great. Due to weather, we sat in the enclosed patio, which not ideal - but it was better than sitting out in the rain!
The cocktails, food and ambiance were all great! Definitely would return again.
They treated our puppy like a queen. Brought us a mat for her to lay on, a water bowl, and gave her plenty of attention! Incredible customer service!
The food, service, and ambience were all fantastic. The services provided by the professional management and staff are the main reasons that we keep coming back. The old world elegance is a rare thing, and we value their focus to make sure that everything about the dining experience is excellent. Michael as the general manager, and Stephan as a professional waiter, are both exceptional. I highly recomend this restaurant.
We love Bistro 31 and have been several times for their good food and great location, but today was absolutely unbearable. On a hot day (yes we know Dallas is hot!) it was sweltering inside. We were literally dripping with sweat and very uncomfortable. When I asked if the AC was broken their reply was, “you must not be from Texas.” Excuse me, if you are from TX you know that you need a good AC. And what kind of response is that? Our friends who are from here were more miserable than we were.
Worst dining experience in ages as we were really suffering with the heat indoors, which also brought a lot of flies on top of it all. $200 for a table of 4 with only one appetizer and with another appetizer as a main course.
Always amazing!! The staff is always friendly, the food is superb and the atmosphere so fun!
