Bistro 28 @ Pole Creek
Our restaurant is a particularly delicious way to cap off a round of golf. After playing our 27 holes of mountain golf, join us at the “28th Hole,” Bistro 28. It’s especially enjoyable to sit on the Bistro’s patio, taking in the views of the golf course and the surrounding Rocky Mountains while you enjoy dinner and drinks. Or you can even call the Bistro on the 9th tees and your food will be ready at the turn!
Bistro 28 features unique made-to-order cuisine infused with international flavors, using local and organic produce whenever possible and no meal is complete without a delicious homemade dessert by Chef Amo.
Breakfast is being served Thursday-Sunday until 10:30am
Lunch served 7 days a week 10:30am-5pm
Dinner served 7 days a week 5pm-8:30pm
Great views are only the beginning. The service was outstanding and the chef’s special was excellent and reasonably priced. Be sure to
put Bistro 28 @ Pole Creek on your list when are in Grand County.
Great views and food. It was beginning of the season so a few wrinkles need to be ironed out. Over the years, consistently good food in casual environment.
Great menu and service! Great location and spectacular views
Great service and great food, as always. Super cool views make for a nice, relaxing night out.
So much fun to do something different with the family. Family friendly, cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The food was AMAZING!
Very consistent food and service. We've never been disappointed at Bistro 28.
The food was fantastic - I had the crab stuffed sole, which is the Friday special - and the service was impeccable. The ambiance was lovely; think upscale log cabin on a field of snow (in the winter). I'll definitely be back.
Good food, excellent service and well priced. Always a pleasant dining experience.
I would put them in the top 3 dining experiences in Grand County.
The food and service were good. I had the sea bass which was a delight if a smaller piece of fish. It was accompanied with a very small serving of vegetables. The dining room is a huge space with no ambiance, designed to be a bar. Cooked Brie for starter and tasty chocolate dessert.
Just the best! So cozy and friendly- We love going here, food is always delicious but it’s the whole package- fun, relaxing, yummy and in a beautiful spot. Been here several times and it is always a home run!
Atmosphere was nice for our large group with children. Wait staff were very friendly and attentive. The portions were generous and tasty.
They always have good food, and they have upgraded the draft beer menu. Too bad they are only open four days a week in winter.
Excellent Thanksgiving dinner! The food was very good, and we felt we could relax and enjoy family for the holiday.
Great food and service. Not to mention the spectacular sunsets.
Can't say enough about this place. Go here often and it is always terrific - food has a great freshness and seasoning, homemade desserts, great wait staff etc. Have been for dinner many times and ordered almost the whole menu - never disappoints.
Just a great place - always awesome service - food is delicious and the view of the golf course is lovely - this is our third time going and we will go again soon.
Best food in the area. Beautiful views. Incredibly friendly staff. Worth the short drive off the beaten path.
Having dinner at Bistro 28 was an evening that exceeded my expectations. The arrival experience was perfect. It said this is a casual restaurant but since it was set up with tablecloths it suggested something more than just a bar at a golf course. The staff was very attentive to our needs. Both Karen and Sarah could not have been more friendly, efficient, and helpful. And the food was outstanding. Three of the four of us had the prime rib and I can honestly say it was the best I have ever had. Cooked perfectly, very flavorful, and the potatoes and vegetables were a nice compliment. I started with a garden salad that had their homemade ranch dressing. It was so good, and we ended sharing a piece of the fruit pie that was so good I wished I had my own piece. Congratulations to Sarah, the Manager, for having put together such a wonderful place for all of us!
A wonderful find outside of Winter Park, CO!
Must go back there in the summer!
We waited at our table for 15 minutes before our server came over. She then told us that they were out of the prime rib which was the special and it was only 6:45pm. She said we should come earlier
Sarah, Karen and everyone are attentive, friendly and make you feel welcome. Our favorite for prime rib on Saturday night. Great food!!!
Super friendly hostess- excellent waitress, food was delicious and we sat by a cozy fire- could not have been a nicer night- will definitely return!
If you're in the Frasier valley, give this place a try. In the summer they are great for lunch/dinner. In the winter they have limited weekend evening hours.
The hostess is amazing - always there, working hard, and very friendly and responsive.
Food is always good - more like "supper club" food, but never disappoints.
Love Bistro 28! My second time there. First was for Thanksgiving Dinner 2017. It was an amazing dinner and service was superb. That experience was the reason I went back and took a friend. I have a second home in Winter Park so I only get to go when i am on the mountains.
This is the third year in a row we have attended Thanksgiving dinner at district 28 at Pole Creek Golf Course in tabernash Grand County Colorado and it does not disappoint. It is quiet and in a beautiful setting. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. It is the best value for Thanksgiving dinner for courses has any $5 a person plus tax tip and any alcoholic beverages. We had turkey and prime rib and even came home with left overs. Highly recommend, we will be there again next Thanksgiving! Cheers the 3 Baer's
We are always looking for something new and fresh. Unfortunately this restaurant was neither. It has a lovely location on Pole Creek but is more a typical golf club bar than a Bistro. The duck, corn and bacon wonton appetizer was very nice but the rest of our meal was marginal at best. Pot roast that tasted like was from the supermarket down the road. Limp vegetable medley that was overdone. My wife's steak was not to temperature and her fries were overdone as well. Salads that were just dumped out of a bag. The wait staff was attentive but we expected much more for $70!
Great Prime Rib special on Sat eve. Get there early before it's all gone. Good salads and drinks selection too. Onion rings are sinful!
Great Scenery, Good Food, loved our waitress Karen and Bartender Lisa! We will return again!
Staff working hard. Just not enough staff for the crowd
We were here last in January. All 4 of us had such a great meal, we couldn't wait to go back.
Up from Denver for a long weekend. Stopped in for dinner again and was so disappointed. Ordered the Jerk Chix w/ au gratin. Those were the worst I ever had. Also, the bread was stale. Someone had the pork shoulder and said it was good.
Hope we just caught them on an off nite and it will improve next time we're there..
Great food, service and atmosphere
What a great dinner. It was Saturday night and packed, but we still had high quality food and service, couldn't have been happier
The staff was amazing! We had our 3 small kids and they were so kind to them.
New Year's Eve happened to fall on Prime Rib night at Bistro 28, which was fortuitous. The prime rib is always excellent with healthy portions and excellent sides. Sarah's desserts are a great culmination to the evening.
I have been waiting for a special occasion to go out to dinner. I'm glad I waited.
The Bistro has excellent food, the ability to provide good customer service without feeling like you are being ignored or hovered over, and a personalized touch. Thanks to all the staff for making our New Year special.
First time for dinner. The chili, chicken, short ribs, sea bass all very good. And great bread!
Sarah, the manager is outstanding. She walks around to every table, and speaks with each guest, very friendly, and very helpful with the menu. Service was outstanding and the food is very very good.
We missed the Prime Rib specials this summer so decided to take advantage of the winter holiday season special. It was a pleasent evening and meal sitting next to the fireplace. Snow recently fell so the golf course and surrounding areas were beautiful. The only thing we missed was the pro shop not being open to purchase some last minute christmas gifts.
