Are you in the mood for house-made pasta, seafood expertly procured from the Mediterranean, or a Tomahawk steak cooked on our wood-burning hearth grill? You hope she will offer you a bottle of Tuscan wine….and she does from her desirable wine list. As you finish off your dessert you do not want this night to end so you move to the lounge and sink into the blue velvet sofa for a Hot Italian Lover. Noise level was out of control. Could not here each other talk. Waitress was pleasant and tried her best. It took over an hour to get our food and when they finally brought out our dishes my wife's order was wrong. We had to wait another ten minutes for them to rush out her order. These kind of places fairly make it long term. Much rather have less hype, better food and service.

Great food but service could have been better. Weren't seated until 45 mins after our reservation because they were just too "busy"!!. They told us that we would get complementary rounds of drinks but then charged us anyway at the end. Had to remind them to take it off. Our waiter also was just ok. Nice atmosphere and great food though.

I wanted to love Bianconi because the decor and atmosphere is top notch. Unfortunately, the entire experience is extremely overpriced. Such a shame since, by the looks, it had so much potential. In LA you have such cool dining options and amazing food experiences.... Bianconi unfortunately fell (extremely) short. This restaurant won't last :(

Bianconi is a stunning restaurant. It's worth going for the ambiance. The tomahawk steak with the rosemary olive oil and sea salt was delicious, as was the octopus. Our server was attentive and the wine list varied and extensive. My only qualms: the cauliflower dish we ordered (which was supposed to have red chili flakes and our server described it as "outstanding") was not hot when served and tasted marginal, our steak tartare stuck to the plate, they were out of 3 popular dishes already at 7pm on a Saturday and the restaurant was sparse, and they sat us at a mediocre table when the restaurant was next to empty. I would be willing to give Bianconi another shot because it's such a beautiful restaurant, but you can definitely do better if you're looking for Italian fare in LA. So far my gold standard is Chi Spacca. If you haven't been there - GO. Bianconi has Spacca beat on ambiance and decor, but the food at Spacca still outdoes any other restaurant I've experienced in LA.

Good food and great service. Music suddenly became VERY loud 8pm, which did not fit with the overall great atmosphere at the restaurant. The music itself was good, but we literally could not hear across the table and ended up having to yell to for conversation.
