   We came in for Portland Dining Month and my wife and I each got separate things for each course. All six items were unique and delicious and I was impressed with the variety and execution.

   We enjoyed the Portland Dining Month menu. I'm not usually a fan of radicchio, but enjoyed the salad I had.

   The desserts could have been better in terms of texture. The salad was really good and the chicken and waffles was alright but made better when we asked for hot sauce.

   Cool spot that was worth trying. The waitstaff was great. The food overall was quite good, though we felt it was slightly overpriced.

   Although I had really been looking forward to going to dinner here, I was quite disappointed in both the food and service for the money.

   First time at the "new" Besaws. I was a big fan of the old one. The experience and menu is different but still great and I will definitely return. One odd thing was our $8 starter salads were HUGE like an entree salad but then the 2 vegan entrees our table ordered were super tiny! I almost wonder if they ran out and split a full order in half! We were in a rush to see a movie so didn't complain. All the food was delicious!!

    We went for restaurant month and were not impressed. Our waitress was flighty and forgetful. The chicken and waffles were basic and limp, the beet salad and vegetable pastiche were lacking flavor, and the brownie was dry and crumbly. Overall, it was not the restaurant month outing we had hoped.
