   After 4 years of trying we finally got in. Our server Grant(?) hope we got that right was excellent from wine recommendations to food, he made the experience that much better. The wine cellar is not to be missed and the desert room was the highlight of the night. The wine list is overwhelming so take your time and try some thing new.

   Love Berns! This was an extremely busy weekend with UTampa Graduation and Mother’s Day so it was much busier than normal. With the high demand I felt like the special/extra attention that we’ve received in the past was slightly below what I’m used to. It was still wonderful.

   I have never dined at Berns and didn’t have a perfect experience, they get it right every time!

   Feels like your in a dungeon. Smells musty. Food is average and service needs improvement. Overall overhyped.

   My go to is chateaubriand. and it did not disappoint. I apologize for not remembering his name but our waiter was exceptional and very attentive. Cant wait to return.

   Everything was outstanding apart from our server. Big change from every visit over past ten years. Very rushed. Only recommended the most expensive wines. Very rushed, didn’t take time to engage or explain the menu. Disappointment. Hopefully the service will go back up before our next visit.

   We visited Bern’s to celebrate my daughter’s college graduation, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, every staff member we encountered was warm, welcoming, and dialed in—it felt genuinely personal, as if we were the only table in the restaurant. That level of attentiveness made the entire evening feel truly premium. Our server, Kyle, was outstanding—attentive, accommodating, and incredibly thoughtful. Even with the restaurant bustling, he ensured our courses were perfectly timed and the service never felt rushed. We also enjoyed the kitchen and wine cellar tour, which added such a special touch to the evening. And of course, the dessert room was a must—decadent, cozy, and the perfect way to cap off the celebration. A memorable night all around—Bern’s truly lives up to the hype. Absolutely worth it!
