   Consistently good on our second visit. The roast chicken is absolutely worth it, as is the cauliflower and bread course. Still have yet to try the pizzas, but they look amazing when delivered to other tables. Very noisy inside due to the narrow layout and parallel hard surfaces. They’d benefit from some noise baffles on the ceiling.

   the food was INCREDIBLE! our server was a sweetheart, appreciated the owner/management coming to personally check on us, a nice homely touch. but for the LOVE please put a fence/wall up or something to give your patio a better look. i made a reservation for the patio to celebrate our wedding anniversary - it felt like we were eating michelin star food at a gas station. again, lovely food, lovely staff, rough ambiance.

   Benzina is a neighborhood dining jewel. The small plates type menu changes regularly and each dish is carefully designed. The wood-fired pizza is fabulous but you can also find unique pastas and salads. Good for kids or on a date. One of my favorites!

   Any neighbors who haven’t been, you are missing a gem! Any in the metro area, it is So Worth the Drive. Forget about NY, Chicago, Detroit and all, this is Italian Pizza!

   We were celebrating a milestone birthday. First round of drinks was really good. Appetizer was marginal (risotto balls). We shared a couple of entrees - squid ink pasta and ravioli. The pasta was decent, okay portion and fine flavors. The ravioli was so salty we had to turn it back. Second round of drinks was also a fail - while the first was a lovely old fashioned on a big cube, the second was on the rocks and had no balance. It was just whiskey. Server was pleasant but hard to get hold of, manager was checked out. It seems like there's not a lot of excitement for the work anymore. Sorry we missed the heyday!

   We always enjoy a meal at Benzina. Great menu and service. A little loud, but ok.

    We had another great experience at Benzina. We had the margarita DOP pizza. The crust is so perfect that I could almost cry. The gem lettuce in the smoked trout ceasar was crisp and sweet and fresh. The flavors were amazing and the service was excellent.
