Benihana restaurant in London’s Piccadilly offers a truly unique dining experience. The show-stopping chefs with their dancing knives and witty banter originated in New York in the 60’s and Behihana’s culinary experience has been enjoyed by more than 100 million diners worldwide. Each of Behinana’s large shared table enjoys its own dedicated chef who prepares a light, delicious, many-coursed Japanese meal teppan-yaki style before your eyes while entertaining you with samurai knife skills and a stream of charming patter. You can choose from several kinds of steak, chicken, or seafood and let the chef take care of the rest. Great place to eat, chefs are fantastic and the service is great. Perfect place for a date night or family dinners. Would definitely recommend.

But the best the staff and service was very lacklustre- the ‘show’ on the grill was minimal, our server for about us so we had to sort our own wine. No one checked into see how were were at the end of the dinner or to offer desserts - when we enquired we were told “ Nah” not available we are running our stock down to 3 of the options at which point we gave up paid and left !

We had a wonderful meal and service from Val the chef and Martin the waiter. Good was divine, entertainment on point and we were all smiles when we left. Also found out that it was Benihana Piccadilly last day of service before the building is demolished. Thanks for the caps too.

The atmosphere was astounding. The restaurant really does have character. Recommend it to everyone 100% as it does not disappoint.

Generally had a wonderful time- the service was excellent. My steak was very tough, which was the only downside. Everything else was great and out chef was brilliant.
