Very nice evening and place to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The different tastes of the dishes and the pairing of wines was delightful. Very nice staff indeed.

I remember the food being better. This time round it was lacklustre. I kept chasing and reminding waiters for our drinks orders, even though several waiters stopped by and asked to take our orders. Food when it arrived was ok, not wow. disappointed as it's lost it's edge, yet the price has gone up.

Excellent service as always. Went with a friend, it was her first time and she loved EVERYTHING about Benares, the service, the food, the drinks...faultless.

I had some of the very best, very well balanced Indian dishes here (paneer and a fish & egg curry) in a quiet and relaxed ambiance away from the busy London streets. A real treat. The taste was delicate and memorable. On a minor side note: at this price level, you might expect some more attention to the dining details, like a welcome amuse for example.
