    Food was good, but expensive for what you got. Service was phenomenal so that was a pleasant surprise for Hollywood. The live band was great however it was not jazz as stated, more of a house band and it was extremely loud. Everyone was basically yelling at each other which we started to get a good chuckle about near the end. Overall it was a great experience.

    Great food, excellent service. DJ was completely out of place. Perhaps he was on loan from Spearmint Rhino for the night, but it really took the place down a notch.

    Great place to dine and start your evening in Hollywood. Service was great and ambience was perfect. Was able to enjoy dinner and catch up with friends. Hanger steak was cooked perfectly, soup dumplings were delicious, and the shrimp was yummy!

    The food was outstanding. All the servers were attentive and friendly. Small portions allow you to try multiple dishes. The steak was amazing as were some of the sharable appetizers.

    Service was great before it got crowded. Then staffing didn't increase with the volume of business. 15 minutes to get drinks we ordered. Need more waiters with increased capacity as well.

    All the dishes were good except the Steak Frites. The meat was awful and chewy and had an awful tasting sauce on it. The French fries that came with the meal were SO SALTY. It was barely edible but I did not want to send it back because the server was so nice. I would not recommend this dish to anyone

    Celebrated my grandma birthday last night and fell in love with our waitress Bianca! She was so easy to deal with and made our party of 7 extremely comfortable! Helped me order some excellent dishes and even helped sing HBD to my grandma at the end! You can tell she was very knowledgeable about all the items on the dinner and drink menu. My party loves this place and will definitely return for the excellent food, ambiance and BIANCA!!!!

    Other than arriving 10 minutes early & then waiting 40 minutes for a table, one of the cocktails needing to be sent back, and the deafening noise level, the food was outstanding and plentiful. Mac & Cheese best ever by a longshot, Tomato Soup with Dumplings...fantastic, huge & perfectly cooked Scallops, Baguette with roasted garlic-chive butter was exceptional, and the Thai BBQ Mushrooms were amazing. Although the cuisine was stellar, the extreme decibel level in conjunction with the seating issue says "one & done".

    My 2nd time there. I brought my friend for the first time for her Bday. The food was amazzzzing! Had to wait about 20 min past our reservation time, but that was ok. One of our meals was a bit cold, but still delicious…. I’ll be back

    You should have sat us downstairs, instead of 3 of us spending $600 to sit upstairs alone in a room. Downstairs tables were open after I came down early in our dinner. I’ll never dine again at this restaurant.

    They tell you you have 90 minutes at a table, yet it took over an hour to get our food and one cup of coffee. This isn’t even a review on the food, just the service. Tables that came after us had no problem receiving attention and their food in a timely manner. We didn’t have any table checks-in or updates from anyone. It was all suspect and unfortunate. I was warned about this place. Now, here is my warning to anyone reading - just go elsewhere.

    The overall experience was very good. The appetizers were outstanding but the entrees were decent at best. We got the Tuna Poke Wonton Tacos, Steak Tartare, and Grilled cheese smoked bacon tomato soup dumplings, all of which were simply outstanding. For entrees we got Roasted Salmon which was tiny, very dry and lacked overall flavor and 10oz Hanger Steak Frites, which was too tough and had an unsettling taste, the fries were great though. The service was excellent, and so was the ambiance, very “happening” spot. Valet was $20 for the garage and $60 to keep up front, it did take forever and a half to get the car back after dinner, mine was parked in the garage.

    We had lower expectations because of the comments online, but what made our experience a great one was our server Forit (I know I screwed up the spelling. He was a Black male with a very gentle soul and demeanour). The menu itself did not excite us, but it was his recommendations which were spot on from the steak tartar to the scallops and the corn ravioli and everything. He made our 25th anniversary special. Food was terrific. My husband and I would go back again.
