   The food was okay this time, was a little disappointed they are out of the lobster so I could not get the dish I wanted and had to settle for something else.

   Brunch at Beausoleil was fantastic, as usual. Service (Bren) was top notch. Cocktails and wine list were excellent. Food was incredible, as is their custom. Our favorite restaurant in Baton Rouge!

   We love this restaurant but thought it was extra pricey this last visit for what we got. They were out of one of my favorites, the brussel sprouts, which usually are a good portion. We got some tacos from the raw bar and the charbroiled oysters for starters and those were both great and a good size/value. However, all the fish entrees are over $40 and I didn't feel mine was better than $30something fish entrees I get at other restaurants. I got the seabass and it was good but could have been better- just no WOW factor for me to be honest. My husband decided to get two starters for his meal because he didn't want to be overstuffed but he was still hungry because the gnocchi was tiny and not what he expected and the burrata salad was small too, although it was probably close to what was expected. Since he was still hungry we got the bread pudding and both loved it but it was a small portion also, good for one person or for a taste....perfect for me but he could have eaten more. We had two glasses of wine also, that were both great, and our total before tip was just over $200! We don't mind spending that but we just felt that for what we got and the deliciousness factor it was a lot to spend. Overall a great dinner and our waiter was amazing. The manager checked in too. The service was defininitely above and beyond and so is the atmosphere.

   Menu completely different then what was online. Felt like they were trying too hard. How do you mess up Oysters Rockefeller ?

   We love Beausoliel. My husbands meal was far better than mine, but the wine, appetizers and dessert made up for my experience.

   Had a lovely evening with a friend. The food was delicious. Our waiter was pleasant and attentive.
