We had a really great dinner at this restaurant recently so thought we should try it for lunch. Had a disappointing and expensive fried oyster salad. The oysters did not seem recently fried and can’t say I loved the salad dressing.

Food and service were pretty good, a little slow due to the high volume associated with graduation weekend. Lobster roll was not the traditional format, more of a lobster salad sandwich than a lobster roll.

Had not been to this restaurant in a number of years after moving to a different city. Ownership and management had changed. Made a reservation for the Saturday night before Mother’s Day and d included a friend whose husband had passed away earlier in the year. Service was good but kitchen had a problem and sent my food out much later than the others. Two dishes (fish) were extremely dry and overcooked as well as tasteless. Very disappointed as the previous restaurant and management were excellent.

We ordered the Linguini, Provential Chicken and Pot de creme. Both entrees were excellent. We didn't eat our full meal so we requested to go boxes. At that point we ordered the pot de creme to go as well. when we arrived home, our meals we literally dumped upside down into the box and were a complete mess. The pot de creme was literally 1 mm deep with watery chocolate topped with the creme. It was very disappointing. I tipped more than 20% so I'm not sure why this happened. Our waiter was Josh.

Excellent food and service. The chargrilled oysters were very good and the hickory salmon was maybe the best salmon I ever had, south of Alaska. Highly recommended.

I had high hopes for Beausoleil, but unfortunately, my experience was deeply disappointing. From the moment we were seated, service was nonexistent. We waited over 30 minutes before anyone even acknowledged our table, except the wonderful hostess who brought us water, and when our server finally arrived, she was shockingly dismissive. To make matters worse, when I requested to swap the spirit in my cocktail for tequila, I was blindsided by an outrageous $60 up charge. I understand that premium substitutions can come at a cost, but this was excessive and felt downright exploitative. I won’t be returning.
