B.B. Lemon Montrose
An elevated eatery with classic, straightforward food & cocktails from HTX & NYC.
This was my third time visiting BB Lemon Montrose which I think is a fair time to leave an accurate review. With this being a new location for BB Lemon and getting through the “opening phase” of a new location they are doing tremendously well. Only two weeks being open and this location is running as if it’s a long time establishment. Every visit has had excellent service. The food was always better than the last which always leaves us excited for our next visit. Drinks are superb. The manager came by (Sara) and always made sure the food and drinks were to our liking. We love BB Lemon. This is our new go to restaurant!
Always want to support neighborhood businesses. Unfortunately, not impressed.
Food and service were very good. Noise level too high. Difficult to carry on conversation
We had a great time...fun place, fun crowd...great food and service...we'll be back soon!
So very disappointing and I see no reason to return! Fish and chips was beyond awful so much so that we returned immediately and replaced with a burger. Meat was acceptable but poor selection for a small bun and served on a salad plate with NOTHING else!! I guess we were being punished for our return?? The Diet Coke ( 2 attempts) was off and we don’t know why???? The noise level was ridiculous and at 2pm for a Saturday lunch! Off our list....... and I have never written a poor review ever but this was not to be ignored!
We will be back!!
Good casual spot
BB Lemon was great! Everything we ordered was delicious! We all had banana pudding for dessert and it was fantastic! The space is cozy and nice and the service was awesome. The noise level was a little high but nothing that wasn’t manageable. Can’t wait to go back!
Very loud. Hostess sat Four young women who had been drinking at bar earlier next to us. They were so loud no one at are table could carry on a conversation. I noticed other tables having the same issue. It would have been nice for management to have asked the ladies to not be so loud
The couple we brought in were so disappointed they will not return. For myself this was the fourth visit to this location. I probably will not be returning anytime soon
What a wonderful new addition to the Montrose. The food was delicious. Maybe a few too many interruptions by staff but overall good experience.
This is rather unique place with great cocktails and reasonably priced comfort food. The exception to the reasonably priced statement extends to both the cocktails and the oysters on the half shell, For oysters save your money and go to State of Grace, price is about the same and you know where your oysters come from.
It was our first time to try this spot. The watermelon salad was outstanding. Portion sizes were just right. Everyone enjoyed the meals.
Food was just OK. Service was slow
amazing everything! drinks, food and service top notch and delicious! blue crab beignets and pork schnitzel not to be missed! yummy!
waiting for the sunday brunch menu and will visit again.
our 1st time was great! Very good food, quick and professional service, especially considering the amount of time they have been open.
Fun new restaurant in the Montrose area. Towards the back, the restaurant is very dark and difficult to read the menu. The food was good, but nothing to write home about. The one thing that was absolutely delicious was the banana pudding, definitely worth it!!
Love the atmosphere and staff. I wish they would have had their brunch menu available. They had only been open 4 days and had a limited menu.
Seems like the service is working itself out as expected of a new restaurant. Food is OK.
Nice place for lunch, but nothing exception to write about. Enjoyed the quaint place, waiter, but the food was nothing memorable. Good for lunch, it's nothing like B & B Butchers, just shares a BB Name, but nice.
I had the Campechena. It was quite good, not sweet as many are. Not up to Goode Company but clase.
We ate at the bar, drinks are over priced. We had to ask for silverware after our food came. Bartender had a hard time making eye contact and gave us our bill before clearing away our food. Not impressed. Oh yeah no happy hour at the Montrose location until August...why???
