Overall a good music spot. Went twice while on vacation in New Ormeans. The first time we went for happy hour, where they have $5 specials. Tried the gumbo and catfish, very tasty but small portions. Free accompanying musical entertainment was extremely good. Went again for another show by same performers, show was good but the sound was troubled difficult hearing lead singer despite a few adjustments. Tried buffalo wings, they were good wings but didnt taste "buffalo-y". Had a hurricane and the cup was a souvenir, able to keep with purchase. The drink was good but not strong g.ordered 2and drink, a "peach melody", delicious delicious and may ne my new drink but it also wasnt strong. Our server was a little scattered, not writing things down and needing to be reminded, but friendly and kind. All in all a spot I would visit again....

Great food and service. Trevor was an awesome waiter. Try the bbq ribs and chicken combo snd skillet shrimp appetizer. The live band is a real nice vibe that I seriously enjoyed. It's a mixture of blues and jazz music.

This is a great venue for a girls night out. We had a friends reunion the week after Mardi Gras. B.B. King‘s Blues Club was fantastic. We went two nights in a row, saw three bands and we had such a good time. Each band has it’s own unique vibe, each bringing tremendous energy to the scene. The menu is eclectic with a little something for everyone‘s tastes and the wait staff both nights was exceptional. For a fun night of dinner and dancing, either couples or single, this is the place to go!

Food was good, service was excellent. The music was too loud though for a dinner, we should have come and eaten earlier knowing that, and listened to the music after eating.

We wanted good food and live music.
We had never been to B B kings before.
The bbq ribs were very tender.
Mushroom burger delicious. Drinks just right. Our service was outstanding.
We will hope to go to another spot somewhere on our travels.

B.B. Blues Club All-Star Band was very good, and we enjoyed them thoroughly. Service was terrific, and drinks reasonably priced; a great night in the Big Easy.

Great jazz club with wonderful food and drink. Only problem is that an open table reservation is close to meaningless. We arrived 5 minutes before our time to be told this just puts you at top of list, but other top of list people before you so will be 45 minutes wait - as it turned out was only a fifteen minute wait - but should not be shown as reservations on open table.

CONS:
Food here is average. Always too salty and too touristy. Website listed several drinks that they did not list on their menu. Bartender could not make two of the drinks I wanted because they seemed to be out of ingredients. Wait staff was ill informed of what they were serving and could not provide information about the dishes.

PROS:
Music was great. We saw the "opening band" which was OK. The headliner band was perfect. Guitar, piano, horns, great singing. Lots of audience participation. Not really blues music all the time, but who wants to be depressed when on vacation.

OMG, my wife and I loved this place. This was our first time ever here. We came for Madi Gras and have been partying the whole week since its our 27th wedding anniversary. BB Kings Blues Club didn't disappoint. I made dinner reservations online and we ate and dance, drink and dance and repeat!!!! The live bands were great and everyone looks to be having just as much fun as us. Next year's Madi Gras, this will be on the list for sure.

We had a great diner here; the band was really nice and swinging, the service was great. We just loved it! And so did our 10 year old. Nice place to go to if you have children and want to enjoy some music.

Looking forward to returning. There were a couple of hiccups but nothing that would change my rating. We went on Mardi Gras night so some chaos was to be expected as they were slammed. The food was amazing and the bands playing were spectacular. We went for dinner but stayed for music and dancing and it was the best! Been recommending this place as soon as I left. Thank BB King's and staff, y'all got it down and then some!

We had just recently went to the House of Blues, very poor experience. The staff and service was awful. It was a reassuring and pleasant experience to go to another tip rated restaurant and experience all of the reasons it is top rated. Staff, atmosphere, food, and entertainment were all amazing...VERY PLEASED CUSTOMER!

The service was horrible. On a Tuesday night that was not busy we waited for over 20 minutes just to get our drink order taken. Food was ok, but was served incorrectly. After waiting for another 30 minutes to get our check we had to hunt our waitress down to ask for it. Not my favorite dining experience.

We went in with a lot of expectations. We went at BB King's in Memphis and had the best ribs ever and a very pleasant evening. We wanted to eat those ribs again and it was a big disapointment: overcooked and burnt, not Memphis style either.
The band was funny but surely not NOLA's very high standard. So we tried and won't go back. Service was fast... maybe too fast! Our apetizers were still on the table and we received the main courses. Felt like they wanted us to leave as soon as possible.

The food is very good but it’s very good music club food - not a good as most New Orleans neighborhood restaurants but much better than bar food. The ambiance and the service were excellent. That said, go there for the music. The music takes everything else up a notch.

Service was terrible and just ruined the overall experience. It was hard to enjoy myself because I was so annoyed. 1st when we arrived we still waited 45 minutes for a table despite having a reservation. 2nd we were charged a $10 cover charge per person to eat dinner...this was not disclosed beforehand. 3rd our waitress blatantly ignored us all night. We got 1 round of drinks after being sat for about 20 minutes and then it took almost an hour for her to come back to even take our order. I tried to flag her down once too and she made eye contact with me and literally turned and walked the other way. The 20% gratuity is automatically added to your check (we were a party of 5) so I guess there was no incentive for her to pay attention to us. We are nice, patient, good tipping folks. I was so dissatisfied. There are lots of places you can eat in this city that have music where the food and drinks are more authentic and not overpriced. I suggest Choose one of those unless you’re just looking to dine at the place for the name.

The food was excellent as we enjoyed our BB ribs and cajun pasta entrees. Our server David M was very professional & attentive. The drinks and food were a reasonable price. The only negative was the host seemed surprised we had a Reservation and that we were seated some distance from the stage even though there were many closer empty tables.
