Great music, food was simple but great and overall terrific value. Great night, would happily visit again.
It was not Blues but rather more of a show bad. Very disappointing
Very nice to have the soul music I want in my life
The live band was absolutely amazing. The food had great flavor and our server Izzy was very helpful and full of energy.
Really amazing food and an awesome live band! Definitely a stop you must do when in Nola
We went in with a lot of expectations. We went at BB King's in Memphis and had the best ribs ever and a very pleasant evening. We wanted to eat those ribs again and it was a big disapointment: overcooked and burnt, not Memphis style either.
The band was funny but surely not NOLA's very high standard. So we tried and won't go back. Service was fast... maybe too fast! Our apetizers were still on the table and we received the main courses. Felt like they wanted us to leave as soon as possible.
The food is very good but it’s very good music club food - not a good as most New Orleans neighborhood restaurants but much better than bar food. The ambiance and the service were excellent. That said, go there for the music. The music takes everything else up a notch.
Service was terrible and just ruined the overall experience. It was hard to enjoy myself because I was so annoyed. 1st when we arrived we still waited 45 minutes for a table despite having a reservation. 2nd we were charged a $10 cover charge per person to eat dinner...this was not disclosed beforehand. 3rd our waitress blatantly ignored us all night. We got 1 round of drinks after being sat for about 20 minutes and then it took almost an hour for her to come back to even take our order. I tried to flag her down once too and she made eye contact with me and literally turned and walked the other way. The 20% gratuity is automatically added to your check (we were a party of 5) so I guess there was no incentive for her to pay attention to us. We are nice, patient, good tipping folks. I was so dissatisfied. There are lots of places you can eat in this city that have music where the food and drinks are more authentic and not overpriced. I suggest Choose one of those unless you’re just looking to dine at the place for the name.
Service was very slow despite the restaurant not being busy. The music was great.
The food was excellent as we enjoyed our BB ribs and cajun pasta entrees. Our server David M was very professional & attentive. The drinks and food were a reasonable price. The only negative was the host seemed surprised we had a Reservation and that we were seated some distance from the stage even though there were many closer empty tables.
Food was good, drinks were cold and the entertainment was excellent!! Definitely would go back!
Absolutely fantastic. Music was amazing, great food and atmosphere can’t wait to visit again next time we come to New Orleans
Great bands. Enjoyed the music very much. We ordered a bowl of seafood gumbo but it was not hot. Overall we had a great time.
Our reservation was cancelled because the restaurant booked a private party. No one called us. We went all the way there for nothing. Couldn't get a reservation to anywhere else we wanted to go. This was my wife's birthday.
Just a great experience and great service . The Food was tasteful and the music, just wonderful!!
AMAZING! From the friendly staff and he excellent food to the fantastic music from Kevin Village and his band BB Kings was a brilliant night out. I woukd recommend this venue to anyone who is visiting New Orleans. One of the highlights of our visit to this amazing city
Love it nice clean and respectful place to be will return soon
I look forward to coming here every time we visit NOLA.
Amazing food , service, Jazz, customer care, personal attention, a true dinner & a show. 10 stars!!!
Very good food, great music, very friendly waiter, just what you would hope for in a blues bar!
Fabulous experience Would highly did recommend it. The band was out of this world best anywhere.
Great atmosphere and good food. Excellent music as well.
No service at all ! The fish was good, but the pasta taste fade.
Our server was very sweet but it took 45+ minutes to get our food after we ordered. Music was fantastic and is a great place to take kids/teens who are under 21 to see a great band in NOLA.
Overall, great time. Food was great. I had blackened redfish and my wife had Cajun carbonara. Service was very friendly but slow. They were very busy. This was New Years Eve eve. We were pleasantly surprised they already had a band playing and they were very good. There was an unannounced $5 per person entertainment fee, but they were well worth it!
Loved the music and the “we accept everyone” feeling. Really bad service. The waiter said they were really busy...when is New Orleans ever not busy? Have a plan! I saw some people walk out, but I wanted to try the ribs.
Food was amazing! Wonderful staff and great music!
Best BBQ ribs EVER!
This place is amazing!!!
My friends an I who were visiting from Oklahoma enjoyed ourselves!
The music was fantastic!!
We picked a good time to go (12n) as it got busy afterwards.
Food could of been a lil more for portion size but other than that, overall great experience.
I’ll be back
If we hadn’t been greeted at the door with a demand for a cover charge “for the band” (who still asked for money) this would have been 5 stars all the way. I expect that in a nightclub but not a dinner club. Forgetting that, this was a great place for music and barbecue. The ribs and pulled pork were delicious. Our waiter was superb and the price was reasonable. And the band was pretty darn good.
This is a must go place when you go to New Orleans. Food was very good and the band was outstanding. What a cool place to have beers and listen to the blues!!!
Amazing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! B
Very bad experience. Started with no one at entrance to seat us. Stood for quite awhile until I went to the bar and asked if anyone was working the door. By now there was a line of people waiting to be seated. Server seated us, then host finally arrived to our table and informed us there was a cover charge. No where on open table did I see this. We paid it and waited at our table for service. After that not happening we decided to leave. I will give them a positive for refunding the cover charge. We did not eat so I am not reviewing food, only service. Disappointed it didn’t work out for us.
Yes I would recommend this club. The service was good.We had the ribs which were excellent fall off the bone. There were two bands which I enjoyed. We got good value for our money.
This is a great music venue. Blues for the City band played tonight and they were awesome! One of the best I'd heard in a long time. Even got me up to dance! Wait service was very good. Had a really good waiter who took real good care of us. Food was excellent.
We went to visit for vacation and the live music was awesome. Our server was beyond amazing friendly and hilarious, I wish I remembered her name!
Awesome food and music
We had a pre thanksgiving family outing to the BB King Blues Club and has a fantastic time. The band was tight and the singer was wonderful - what an incredible voice. Pulled pork was really good. The drink specials are in small plastic cups and not very large, but still tasty.
This place definitely encompassed the whole New Orleans experience for us! We are definitely coming back!
Good band, good food, good vibe!
We had an excellent evening over there.
