I took my sister to brunch. The area is busy. However, it was very quite inside. We each enjoyed our meal. I do look forward to going back. Shrimp and grits, French toast, and steak omelette. They were great.

Amazing collection of whiskeys, great wine selection. Nice array of entrees to choose from. Not inexpensive, but nice for a special night on the Wharf.

Wish the bar had better lighting. It’s so pretty and could be much nicer. Lights above and maybe even under the bar counter. Noticed the wine chillers don’t have lighting either. We enjoy our dinner every time. Service was very good. We are in our 50’s so maybe we’re just old but it was a little too loud last night. Felt like you really had to raise your voice to understand each other. Even the waitress had to keep leaning in.

Everything was great! Server was fast and very nice! Good quality was worth it. Oysters were very good. But we ordered a top shelf margarita. Got it drank it. Was an average margarita. Wasn’t on the menu but what my fiancé typically orders when we go out. Get the bill and the margarita was $70. Like what in the heck! I’ve traveled all over and never have seen a $70 margarita. The waiter must have put the most expensive tequila in it. We had no clue. Then they acted like well didn’t you order a top shelf margarita. Yes, we did but not a $70 one.

Wife and I came for dinner. The drinks and cauliflower appetizer were fantastic. We both ordered the 8oz filet, brussels sprouts, and mushrooms. The steak was subpar considering it was $50. It wasn’t cooked properly and was extremely tough. Other restaurants in the area have a much better steak for the same price. The Brussels seemed very basic, and the mushrooms were decent. We will come back but just for drinks, would recommend going elsewhere if you want a good steak. The service was great.

It's back to the original. Water Street keeps growing but The Battery has always been an enjoyable experience for drinks, food, and exceptional service. Michael accommodated us perfectly outside despite the rain and made our evening a delight!

We celebrated my husbands birthday dinner here and it was delicious. Our server Germain was pleasant and attentive, the food was tasty, and the drinks were great! We got the charcuterie board, bolognese, oysters, Boursin ravioli, 16oz ribeye and lobster bisque to charge with another couple. Everything was delicious! I recommend the feeling in charge espresso martini or the hello gorgeous martini!

Unfortunately we had a very poor experience at the Battery. Beautiful restaurant with a huge selection of bourbon which we LOVE. The drinks were outstanding however we waiting 30 minutes for drinks. (Which came out after our charcuterie board was served.) The entrees ordered were very bland. Beautiful presentation but lacked flavor. For the price point and ambiance we had high expectations. I'm very unhappy I chose this restaurant for my birthday:(

We were looking for somewhere near to where my wife was shopping. I wanted something with an excellent wine list and Battery fulfills that wish, and with their incredible selection of Whiskey, Scotch, Bourbons, and Ryes, they make an even bigger impression. The pricing was very fair for the offering. The charcuterie boards offered a very nice selection of meats and cheeses and came with a very good amount of accoutrements. My wife opted for the salmon and I for a steak. The salmon was nicely prepared, fresh, and nicely presented. The steak was perfectly cooked to my temperature with a bit of char on the outside from their 1600 degree firing process. A welcome touch of flavor. Our server, Jermaine, was great. Very helpful, informative and on point all night. When we go back, we will definitely ask for him again.

Previous experiences have been great, but most recent visit with party of 8 was not. The server was green and unfamiliar with wine choices and didn't offer to ask bartender. One of our party did not receive their sea bass (ordered by 3 others at table) until the rest of had nearly finished--I suspect the server never put in the order and instead of owning up to it just kept saying its on its way. No offer to comp a dessert or anything to recognize the failure. Lastly, I got pork for first time and it was lathered in a peach jam which could have stood some flaming to lightly caramelize but instead it just tasted like jelly was swabbed over pork just before serving. I'll stick to their steaks from now on.

We picked this restaurant because it was close to our hotel but we were pleasantly surprised at the great food and service. Our server was so much fun and we had a great time. The espresso martini is not to be missed either!

My partner and I had brunch here and it was a lovely experience. This was the first time we’ve been here and ordered something from every menu. We ordered bottle service with the juice flights and the tuna tartare to start, I ordered the shrimp and grits and he ordered biscuits and chicken and crème brûlée for dessert.

The service was very slow and not consistent. We had our drinks delivered after the table next to us received their appetizer and drinks. Our server barely was present during our visit so we waited a long time before we received any service to order food. When the soup we ordered came out, no spoon was given at the same time so we had to ask the host. The food was decent but not to the price.

A couple of thoughts. They don’t offer bread. It’s not even something you can buy from the menu like some places do now. The bread that is served with the cheese board is cold—like it came out of the fridge. Not toasted. Sort of odd. The entrees were good. Side’s good boo
