Taking its name from the location Battersea we’re it origin in the Battersea Village and Rickshaw which was the Indian vehicle to travel in olden days since 1879, Battersea Rickshaw has reopened in 2022 in its original location after 7 years again with team as before, where it became renowned for its pan-Indian cuisine.

Had a booking for this place and a few hours before attending google said that it was permanently closed. I went onto their website (where I had previously checked the menu), everything from the website was removed and there was just a note saying the the restaurant had closed. We didn’t get a note from the restaraunt or Open table which meant we had to re-organise dinner last minute in a very busy area of London on a Saturday night.

Very poor first visit. Arrived for booking to find lights off. Man came to door and told us to come back in 20 minutes. Left us outside in the cold and locked the door. Went to Bombay Brasserie instead! You need to be open at the allocated booking slot!
