Food was spectacular! However, we viewed specials and HH online before going. Once there they changed special entree pricing and HH prices. I showed them on my phone and only then did they give us correct charge. We did ask prior to placing order. They acted like didn’t know what we were talking about. Hope they do well but we probably won’t return.
Thanks for the review on the food. We honored all specials even old ones that we had for lunch, all happy hours discounts are applied automatically to your bill. All current offers can be found in our website. Will send you a private message with more details. Thanks for coming and enjoy our restaurant
Fresh amazing food you can tell is made with love! Will definitely be back
The Barbosa Kitchen would probably be rated as one of the finest restaurants in Naples .... if it had a better location. Even though it is close to downtown and just off of Tamiami, it is not viewable from the street. It is the type of restaurant that needs time to gain a loyal clientele. The food is exceptional, Spanish with a Cuban accent. Service is warm and professional. The Tapas menu is extensive, without being overwhelming. Paella is the specialty, but the rest of the menu is well thought out and covers all the bases. All of the dishes we tried ranged from very good to exceptional.
No bar may be a problem for some, but the extensive and creative list of Sangrias, wine, and beers match well with the food.
Wonderful! Delicious wine, and food was just amazing and very tasty.
Wonderful place! Eating out as places open up post Covid shut down is a different experience but the small staff plus chef were so friendly and inviting, our meal was fun.
We met the chef/owner and tasted numerous items on the menu. The other patrons appeared to be enjoying themselves as much as us. Loved all tapas items we ordered (dates, octopus, chickpeas) as well as an order of paella - more than enough for 2.
We will continue to patronize and we love the location which allows a quick walk to the Riptide Brewery for an after dinner beer :)
Made a reservation and the Resturant ended up closing early as they felt they didn’t have enough business so they closed. Very rude and unapologetic as I had a reservation. Will never try eating there again
Great Food. I loved Black Paella.
Datiles with Bacon Amazing
Eric and Barbosa the best
Great to see the staff adhering to personal protection. Hand santizer at door. Food was very tasty and reasonably priced.
The food and service were both exceptional. Really enjoyed it.
Overall a very pleasant experience. Excellent friendly service. Food was excellent, not outstanding. Value was very good. Inside was exceptionally clean and atmosphere was nice. I definitely recommend to try this eatery.
We samples 6 tapas dishes and the cheese and cured meet boards. The cheese board was basic, but very good. The cured meat board exceptional.
Be sure to enjoy the bacon wrapped dates with chorizo and the garbanzo dish. Next time we will have the paella, which looked great on the other tables.
The wine list was short, reasonably priced and representational of the food. I thought the pinot verde was a very good table wine value.
We went to Barbosa the first time with my sister and her husband March 7 and it was good. The second time did not disappoint. Fortunately we had the same waiter, Eric, and he is just so good at what he does! And he let me practice my Spanish with patience! My husband had the 24 month aged ham and he loved it. I had the tortilla española and it was excellent. For dessert I ordered the Cuban Flan because I wanted to see how it compared to the flan my Cuban neighbor’s mother taught me how to make. It was delicious! And I was honored to meet Chef/owner Luis Barbosa who was so gracious and kind. It was a wonderful evening and experience! I felt so lucky! Gracias a todos para una experiencia inolvidable para nosotros!
Amazing Paella! Delicious felt like I was back in Spain!
We were down in Naples for vacation and found this restaurant online. With a quick online reservation, we arrived and got quickly seated. The tapas menu was fantastic. The server recommended bacon wrapped dates. It was delicious! One of the best dishes we had during the 1-week vacation. Definitely worth a second visit just for that.
wonderful service , perfect size plates, food was authentic and so good ! . Wine selection good and reasonable ...LOVED IT !!!
If you had to cancel your travel plans to Spain due to the Covid-19 virus you can still eat like you are there!! The food is just plain excellent at Barbosa Kitchen! Having been to Spain and eaten all over the world I can tell you it is as good as anyplace you will find there or here! We ordered just about every Tapas on the menu and a few multiple times all spectacular. The wine list is outstanding, good prices on nice wines with some age on them. Just go, you won't be disappointed.
Amazing food! Fantastic service! A food destination for sure
What a gem! The food was fabulous. Probably the best paella I’ve had. The real deal! Tapas were very tasty. Looking forward to another visit. Our server, Sarai was friendly and helpful.
Barbosa continues to be a great restaurant. The food is excellent. Appetizers and tapas are all great. Haven’t had a bad one yet.
The entrees are all good. The paella’s are fantastic as is the fish and pork. I have nothing bad to say.
Eric was our waiter and he was very attentive during our meal.
Highly recommend this hem
Barbosa Kitchen was a real treat! The food was well-prepared and authentic. The seafood paella was delicious. We had 4 tapas for 5 of us and enjoyed them all. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. It was quiet enough that we could carry on a conversation that my 92-year old father could hear. If you want a place that’s different from the noisy Naples steakhouses or Italian restaurants, give Barbosa Kitchen a try.
Wonderful food and service
Very good seafood paella. Nice bar with good sangria. Attentive servers. The decor is minimal and service is on bare tables.
Very attentive staff. Paella was excellent. Simple inside and quiet.
Delicious tapas— the grilled octopus and chickpeas were outstanding! Our waitress was completely charming and so helpful. The only hiccup was that they were out of 2 of the wines but the glass we chose. Would definitely return to try the paella and the desserts.
We ordered about five tapas, and they were all good. The dates wrapped in bacon were especially good. We felt the egg tortilla could have been thinner. The octopus was a large piece! For the main course we ordered a seafood paella, but we also had them add chorizo and chicken to it. It was a bit greasier than we like, but tasted good.
It was a Tuesday night, so the restaurant wasn't too busy.
Excellent selection of tapas. Good service. Limited wine selection by the glass. Will return.
Unfortunately our evening was disappointing. We were the only party of two we were shoved into a corner almost on top of another party. We could barely get through the tables without bumping those around us. The large party next to us was so loud we could barely hear each other. We were basically screaming at each other and the waiter. When I asked about moving, our waiter curtly said no there was no where to go and certainly no apology. Our waiter seemed very stressed and short with us. He seemed like he couldn’t keep up and left us for long periods of time. On a positive note, his food recommendations were good though. We loved the bacon wrapped dates and sangria. Our seafood paella was also good, but not worth the 40 min wait or $50. We wanted to order dessert, but it took us so long to get checked on we decided to just leave. I would maybe recommend this place for a group night out for tapas to share and not a romantic quiet dinner. I definitely left disappointed.
Our first time here but definitely not the last. We had several tapas and a Cuban sandwich, everything was great! Only suggestion we have is that the bacon wrapped dates, which were delicious, need the bacon cooked a little more. The best was the noise level, which was so low we were actually able to have a conversation without yelling. What a delight!
Great tapas and sangria! I would definitely go back for the bacon-wrapped figs!!
Great service and food was excellent!
Overall, the food was a disappointment. “Bacon wrapped” appetizers were largely bacon fat. Also, the seafood Piella was somewhat bland.
Nice people who their Tapas and Spanish wine. A nice break from south Florida standard fare. Don’t let the exterior fool you. The food wine and service are great
Outstanding and genuine spanish food. We enjoyed the Tapas. It was our second time here in 3 weeks. Service was fantastic and we appreciate a menu that serves authentic spanish food. We will be back for sure.
TREMENDOUS!! Fresh, authentic Spanish flavors and presentation. A giant step above the ordinary. Only 9 blocks from the hustle and bustle of 5th Avenue, and as good as anything on 5th. Excellent value matches the quality, and the staff is wonderfully pleasant and attentive.
Tapas were great! The bacon wrapped dates were unbelievable. I am looking forward to going back to try the Paella.
This was our second dining experience at Barbosa Kitchen. The food and service are very good. They continue to improve.
