Serving tapas with passion to the people of Camden since 1985, Bar Gansa is set in the heart of Camden’s vibrant Inverness Street, just a few seconds’ walk from the iconic markets.

The newly transformed menu at Bar Gansa brings influences from Spanish traditions with a modern twist. The menu boasts a varied tapas selection.

The classic paella which is transformed by pork shoulder with mushrooms and romesco and squid ink with chopped squid, tiger prawns and lime aioli. The menu pays homage to traditional Spanish cuisine, while the restaurant’s refreshing makeover transports patrons to Spain with its quirky design, featuring orange seating and brightly patterned décor.

On weekends, the Sangria flows with a lively bottomless brunch. To add to the vibrant Spanish atmosphere, electrifying flamenco displays are hosted by the Escuela de Balle every Sunday from 7pm.

Able to make a booking online, but they were fully closed on Saturday! No mention of anything when booking and everything else says fully open. They have also checked us in as if we went there!

Love this place. We literally come from Horsham to eat here. First time back since lockdown ended, and great new decor.

Chill vibes for a date. Sangria was good. Would be good to have a lid on the jar or something to catch the fruit so it doesn’t splash

Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was okay, nothing stood out as amazing which is a shame. Think this place would be better suited for some who wanted to enjoy cocktails and some bar food rather than an experience where the focus is on the food.

First time in a restaurant post-Covid - what a great evening! Food was delicious, especially the black pudding balls, service was spot on, and the musicians set a great atmosphere. Slight issue with the booking as the booking app seems to count the outside tables as being inside... but the staff very kindly made it work for us.

Booked for some drinks and light bites for four of us. Good to have covered outside seating. The only thing that I would say is as each of us turned up, we were waiting a while to have orders taken but that's it!
