Having been to Cambodia I am always on the look out for authentic Cambodian food. Bami is a good place ideal for daytime dining with fresh food and ingredients. Portion sizes are great and the atmosphere is laid back and casual. Perhaps not for a first date but great for a group of friends or quick bite.

Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here with attentive service and some really nice food. Nice ambiance and I would definitely come back

We booked Bami through Opentable for dinner last Friday evening. It was not busy at all and we were seated at a table by the window. We both love Vietnamese food but it was a struggle to be excited about the very limited menu. We were informed that there were no specials. A table of around 8 people arrived after us and it was interesting to see how carefully and attentively they were looked after. I am not sure if they were regulars but we felt pretty ignored and uncared for. There were no summer rolls available (why?! ) so we shared spring rolls and the saigon pancake to start - these were good. It was downhill from there with our main dishes - chicken with noodles and prawns with rice - uninspiring and tasteless. We left most of the food and the waitress did not blink an eyelid. In the meantime the table of 8 were having a whale of a time with dish after tasty dish arriving to their table - it could not have been from our menu! A huge disappointment with lacklustre food and an unwelcoming ambience - and we will not be returning.
